in Hive Learners2 years ago (edited)

You no longer need to be a programming language expert to turn your ideas into reality. No code movement has picked up pace since the pandemic for obvious reasons. Last two years saw a huge of "no code" applications getting popular. You can kickstart and grow your business much faster than ever before. Even developers with high-level technical backgrounds can save themselves from typing hundreds of lines of code using these tools.

No coding technology empowers everyone to be a creator. 🔥

Benefits of Using No-Code Tools?

As we all know, coding is hard and the learning curve is steep. No code tools come up with a ton of advantages that cannot be ignored. They are:

  • Cheaper
  • Faster
  • Easier

as compared to learning to code yourself or hiring other developers for your project. Lowering production costs and time are some of the huge benefits for both small and large businesses alike.

In this blog, I will list down 5 awesome No Code tools that you can use to build awesome applications & websites without writing a single line of code:

Carrd

Carrd is an intuitive no-code tool that lets you create a single-page website in minutes. It’s free and easy to use, even if you have no coding experience.

It uses a drag-and-drop interface to let users quickly build their website with text, images, videos, links, and more. Users can also easily add other features such as buttons to their site by clicking on the “Add Element” button at the bottom of the page and picking from different options like contact form or newsletter signup forms. The pro version is only $19/year which provides you a variety of customization options.

Bubble

Bubble is a visual programming language platform that lets you design apps using a drag-and-drop interface. There are multiple versions of the tool: free, personal, professional and production.

Using bubble, you can possibly build any web app without code . You can customize UI/UX via plugins, manage backend data and integrate with any third-party applications using APIs. They also provide full support to launch your webapps and tools on Google Play Store & Apple App Store.

Webflow

Webflow is website design SAAS product, that lets you build and host highly customizable dynamic websites. It is a cloud-based platform that enables users to build a website without writing code. It’s also a drag-and-drop website builder that lets you create responsive websites without writing code or touching HTML/CSS.

The platform comes with pre-built templates, so you can get started right away- but if you want to customize your site further, there are also templates for that too. While Carrd is great for one page websites, you can use webflow to build complex websites with multiple pages.

Copy.ai

Copy.ai is the best AI tool for writers, marketers & content creators. You can generate high-quality blogs & marketing content within a few minutes using artificial intelligence. Just mention the title, some description, and keywords to get a full-page blog written. It's that easy!

For entrepreneurs and content creators, it can save a lot of time and money and there is no need to hire other writers for doing basic writing jobs for your blogs, websites, or social media accounts.

Notion

Notion is a powerful content & project management tool. You can organize your ideas, content, and projects all in one place. You can collaborate with your team members and communicate easily as it provides a centralized platform where you can share ideas, manage tasks, and exchange messages while also allowing each project member to work independently on their own schedule.

It may look like other tools out there but it offers many customizations that make it stand out from the crowd of productivity apps. With Notion’s user interface you can personalize columns however you want with endless possibilities for customization available to make the best use of your time. It organizes everything from simple lists to complex diagrams into separate sections or tabs on top of sharing links directly from within the web app itself (no email required). You can even create Notion templates and sell them to other users depending on their usage.

Those tools are quite interesting and definitely I will try a few!

I'm intrigued with Copy.ai...it seems like cheating in a sense lol but it can help get some inspiration when you just have a title or an idea but can't come up with words to get the flow.

Notion can be useful for me for making lists and store/organize ideas. I use Todoist.com to make lists/tasks and schedule them which may be similar to Notion.

It's no cheating unless they find it out. xD And honestly, these tools are so great, no one would even notice.

Btw, I just checked Todoist.com. It seems great as well! There is no shortage of such tools now. A ton of options for everyone depending upon their choices and usage.

Webflow is great, I've played around it a couple of times but never got to buy anything off it cause of shit restrictions on NG bank cards, good thing I could still run the numbers else way where cryptocurrency was accepted.

Haven't heard of the rest, might have to see if they come through.

Yes man! Webflow is the industry leader in website creation. Sucks that you have to face restrictions. You can always use WordPress or WIX.

Some great tips. I use Notion and find it pretty good.

Thanks a lot mate. I have started using it recently to manage my notes.

I recently tried anyword and it's so similar with Copy AI. Also, I still don't understand the appeal of notion, I tried it but it's just not for me. If I may add, coda and airtable are also solid no code tools. I use Coda a lot for prototyping and it's really fun working with it. I used to follow no code movement but now, it's something of yesterday. It's nice though to see people recognizing benefits and practical use of no code.

Copy.ai is just one tool. There are hundreds of them out there. Some are even better.

the appeal of notion, I tried it but it's just not for me.

Google sheet does a pretty good job as well. xD

Never used Coda. Do you find it better than notion or is it something else entirely?

I have been developing e-commerce stores on shopify for years so it's nothing new for me as well. But it's great to see a wave of tools getting released for different use cases. The only limit right now is your creativity.

These tools are great but the truth is there is nothing that makes me feel more proud than having to see a website that is fully structured with my bare technical skills and seeing the product of my frustrations + sleepless nights.

Haha. I am sure it is a divine feeling bro. You are learning software & web development from scratch. It's better to create as many things as possible to sharpen your skills. Eventually, you will also find yourself using a lot of these tools in unison with your coding skills to have better productivity & flexibility.

yeah, having ideas on other no-code tools, would definitely bring about more productivity and flexibility. That way one may not need to run the code from start, and pass through all that trouble for a simple project. I follow you on this brother.

Tell me something new please 😋

Something new 😜

 last year

-_-

I think the no code tools are great and they allow for people to build applications without having to worry about finding a programmer. However, I do think that it lacks in customization as the developers have to code everything.

Yes, that's the trade-off. You can probably do 90% of the job using these tools. For the rest 10%, you will have to go for coding. No code is the pathway to Low code!

Hi @finguru, Your post has a variety of helpful resources. These tools really boost the workflow. The bubble is really useful to turn the idea into a playable app with just drag and drop. We can design and check what our app looks like if we start coding for it. But at some point, we need do some tricky logic in our app. So most of the developers prefer to write code with their standards,
Thank You for sharing this useful information with us.

Thanks a lot bro. Glad you liked the blog. And You are absolutely right! These tools have limits. They are being constantly upgraded so these limits are stretching. To achieve high levels of customization, you need coding skills for sure.
