Overcoming Challenges to Create Music and Video Content

It has been over a year since I created any music content on Hive. Just like yesterday, music and video content were the only things I felt comfortable doing, but things changed. I really want to start making music again and playing the guitar again, but it all comes down to balancing and taking care of what I need to make this happen.

Since I moved to my new apartment, I thought maybe it would be very easy to start creating music content, but I faced some issues like my FL Studio, soundcard, and a cable for my guitar. I have always thought of solving these issues by getting all I needed, but I keep procrastinating, saying I don't have the money to do this or that, and even when I do have the money, I don't remember to do them.

Now, I decided to order some stuff on Jumia that I would be reviewing when they are around and that would help me in my video content.

I ordered a table mic stand that has a phone holder on it. I know most of you that know me would be thinking, "Why order a mic stand when I don't sing?" I ordered this in particular not because I create music content but for my video content in general.

I want to work on the audio of my video content so that I have a better audio system. I have had a condenser microphone for over two years, but I haven't been making use of it. It is time to find something to do with it. Also, one of the problems I faced with the condenser mic was the cable I used to connect it to my sound card. The particular cable that came with it doesn't work, so I ordered another cable for it.

Here is the cable that I ordered as well to help connect my condenser mic to my soundcard.

The problem I face with ordering online is the expensive delivery fee. I have to pay $4 for shipping, which is quite a lot for me. The cost of shipping has been increasing over time, making it less favourable. That's why I usually prefer ordering from Konga because of their low shipping fees, but their shipping fees come at a great disadvantage.

I placed this order three days ago, last Friday, and I'm expecting its delivery today. I hope that at least one of the items arrives, as I wish Oraimo products could be shipped as fast as this. By the way, I recently received the Oraimo keyboard I ordered previously, and I'll be creating an onboarding video for it soon.
