I try not to use irrelevant ones in the post that should not have.

Most if not all of the tags are "generic", so it's acceptable for a variety of content. Each tag puts the content on another website, maximizing the exposure and each earning their own respective token.

mostly I use Cent, pimp, proofofbrain, photography, macro. Photography and macro is because most of my post are based on the photos that I have and I want to post, while pimp and cent, because I as far as I know it is a generic tag that the token is based on the community I was accumulating.

i try to include ctp,cent,aliveandthriving as my tribe tags as I am posting in these tribes. If I create some fun related posts, I use the fun tag as this is a fun community too.

In principle I only use one front-end and that's Ecency, for microblogging now also LeoThreads, which doesn't include Ecency Waves posts into threads, but for DBuzz I can use Ecency.Waves.

I mostly use the tags those are related to the topic of my posts; actifit, aliveandthriving, alive, larryisalive, photography.

I try to use tags relevant to my article, and of course relevant to the community I post in. Wnd there is tags like hive-engine which can be used at all times. Important that your posts get found easier when using the right tags

Among the main ones are hive-br, which is the tag we use to promote content in pt-br, pimp from the @enginewitty community, a community where people are like a family, I also use leofinance which is the largest community in hive focused on finance
We also started to use the pimp tag more frequently. It's nice to get pimp rewards :-)

It depends on the content. I mostly write in LeoFinance so that gets hit automatically, obviously. I usually add brofi and neoxian since I belong both places. Then again, it's topic specific. Splinterlands, hivegaming, sometimes oneup. But as for tags I use consistently no matter the topic, Leo, neoxian, and brofi and the main ones.

No, just the Hive and LEO from their curation account. No BRO or LGN.

Sometimes choosing tags may seem arbitrary. I used to always include the neoxian tag for no particular reason but nowadays I usually neglect it unless I can't think of any other relevant tags.
One tag I almost always include is proof of brain because it is a general, all purpose tag but also because, well, I'm using my brain (not AI) to intelligent make creative posts.
The other most common tag I use is gardenjournal for easily visibility within the hivegarden community. Every month, we hold a challenge.
I also use miscellaneous gaming tags to increase visibility of my posts within the different gaming communities like hivegaming, oneup, etc.
All second layer tokens get powered up of course!

It's a good question that which tag's we should use?? Actually i was also confused about this but than i started to used tag's related to my post and some about community like pob, archon
It's a good strategy to match the tags with the subject you are writing about.

I'm still experimenting with tags and looking for new uses. The main goal is to expand our reach. Fortunately, we have 10 tags for each post. But some tags I use all the time, because in addition to coverage, I like to collect, accumulate and retain second layer Hive tokens. That's why the tags ctp hive-engine aliveandthriving neoxian proofofbrain cent and pimp in almost every post I do).

Lately, most of my posts have been related to P2E gaming (Splinterlands, Rising Star, etc.). In those posts, I generally try to hit the tags that will be available to the most interested people and also to the general tags to "spread the word" about the game in question. For example, in a post about Splinterlands, I would probably use something like SPLINTERLANDS, ONEUP, CENT, PROOFOFBRAIN, NEOXIAN, VYB, PALNET, ARCHON, SPT, and PGM.
Using general tags helps as you say to spread the word because the post will be visible on a big quantity of front-ends and in addition to that, you will earn author rewards from tribe tokens.

NEOXAG, ARCHON, PIMP, CENT are more commonly used.
When it comes to gaming, will include ONEUP, THGAMING and PGM.

There are so many tags that could be used. The tags I use the most often are CTP, AliveandThriving and POB but it does depend on the topic of my post as well. For gaming, I use THgaming, PGM, Oneup, and just discovered SlothBuzz. Risingstargame, dcity and Splinterlands are used with the associated game content post as well.

I don't post a lot, but when I do I usually write posts that tell about my missionary adventures, do I mostly use general tags like NEOXIAN and PROOFOFBRAIN and tags about the content I am posting about.
Using general tags is the safest way of doing it I believe. Like that you won't offend any type of rules :-)

Well, since my posts on here are pretty much just Splinterlands blogs, I use:
SPLINTERLANDS, SPT, BLOCKCHAINGAMES, VIDEOGAMES, GAMING, BLOG, & SPS - which is a set I put together a while ago and pretty much just reselect each time. Mainly since they tend to describe the post, or I was told I should tag related content with them at some point in the past :D

I use tags that is related my content, most of them is gaming, so pgm, oneup, and blockchaingaming is often used. While there is thing about finance, leo and leofinance is a must, because they've got a huge votes value. Other than that, general tags such as pimp, hive-engine, pob, hustler is there to complete the 10 tags

I tend to use a few tags about the actual topic first. Like if I am writing about splinterlands, then I add in that and playtoearn. Then I add in some hive engine tokens that I think fit the topic like ctp, proofofbrain and archon.
The order actually matters because for some tribe tokens, they will only consider the top 5 tags in a post.

Good question! The correct use of tags is to help filter posts by certain subjects. For example, using the tag "sports" in a post related to sports will help other users using the search function, to find the content they are looking for. On Hive a lot of people forget about this and are only using tags to farm 2nd layer tokens. For this reason I prioritize tags that are related to my post subject, and in the end I will use just a few community tags like pob, pimp and tribes.
I agree a lot of people don't pay much attention to that so they spam their posts with tribe tags.

I tend to use community tags that i am apart of or if i like the token depending on what i post from what account i am using.
I think it is good to try different ones out and see what response you get not all communties and tags are equal it seems.

It's interesting what you write and maybe it's not necessary to use different tags that "call" the same tribe. For alive for example scotbot is working with all the following tags:
alive,iamalivechallenge,larryisalive,aliveandthriving,wearealive

I do that because it is an informational and reward post for the tribe with 4 core projects that although are in the tribe are also separate entities and believe it or not some people still miss it 🤣
It is easy for people to miss your post completely if your only using one tag and it makes the content less visable to our curators in the community especially if the community creates lots of content.
There are rules set by the tribe to consider also for example if some one is entering the Larry is Alive contest they are suppose to use hashtags alive, larryisalive and ctp.
