Wednesday is a day for walking.
After work, I found myself on Spasskaya Street. I didn't plan to be here in the morning, but in the middle of the working day I decided that I needed to visit this place.
It has already become quite cold outside, the temperature is close to zero, so there are few people walking in this place. There are a lot of young people here in the summer evenings, but now the situation is not conducive to walking.

После работы я оказался на улице Спасской. С утра я не планировал быть здесь, но в середине рабочего дня я решил, что нужно побывать в этом месте.
На улице уже стало достаточно холодно, температура близка к нулю, поэтому в этом месте мало гуляющих людей. Летом по вечерам здесь бывает много молодых людей, но сейчас ситуация не располагает к прогулкам.

There are no drinking establishments here, they are around the corner, that's where I saw young guys and girls. And in this place there was only one couple walking. And they are in front of you. They are always standing here.

Конечно, время еще только самое окончание трудового дня. Тем более середина недели. Может ближе к ночи здесь будет тусить молодёжь, а может и нет. Здесь нет никаких питейных заведений, они находятся за углом, вот там как раз я видел молодых парней и девчонок. А в этом месте была лишь одна парочка гуляющих. И они перед вами. Они здесь стоят всегда.


The car also hasn't gone anywhere since the last time. Well, maybe someone remembers my summer walk in this place?
After my inspection of the car, the children came up to him and started trying to drive it.
I definitely like this car. It looks like a real one. I would like to ride in such a car and honk the horn.
By the way, I just noticed that the lights are on in the windows that are located behind the car. There is a museum there. I need to find some free time and visit it.

Автомобиль тоже никуда не делся с прошлого раза. Ну может кто-то помнит мою прогулку летом в этом месте?
После моего осмотра авто, к нему подошли дети и начали пробовать ехать на нем.
Мне определенно нравится этот автомобиль. Он выглядит как настоящий. Я бы хотел на таком поездить и понажимать на клаксон.

Or he's strapped in, and I can't see the chain very well. Still, it is strange that such a place has been chosen to park a bicycle.
I wouldn't want to ride a bike right now. It's very uncomfortable. It's already cold for riding a bike.

Кто-то бросил здесь свой велосипед. Странно. Я давно не видел велосипедов, непристегнутых цепочкой к чему-либо. Его же могут угнать.
Или он пристегнут, а я плохо это вижу. Всё же странно, что выбрано такое место для стоянки велосипеда.
Я бы не хотел сейчас ездить на велосипеде. Это очень некомфортно. Уже холодно для езды на велике.


By the way, I said last time that there are ice cream and chocolate museums on this square.
I was just passing by the windows of the ice cream museum. An interesting installation. Many of the former Soviet citizens may remember these milk pyramids and ice cream, which was sold in Soviet times.
And what was the taste of milk in these pyramids! Pyramids were valued higher among people than bottled milk. I have heard this statement from many people.

Кстати, я говорил в прошлый раз, что на этой площади имеются музеи мороженного и шоколада.
Я как раз проходил мимо окон музея мороженного. Интересная инсталляция. Многие из бывших советских граждан могут помнить эти молочные пирамидки и мороженное, которое продавалось в советское время.
А какой был вкус молока в этих пирамидках! Пирамидки ценились выше у людей, чем молоко в бутылках. Я от многих людей слышал это утверждение.

It's just that now the choice is much more both in taste and in price category.

мороженное в вафельных брикетах я встречал только в Москве. И эскимо можно было приобрести только там или в Ленинграде. Но у них был разный вкус. Я не скажу, что в настоящее время мороженное хуже по вкусу. И в то время было разное мороженное по вкусу, как и сейчас. Просто сейчас выбор гораздо больше как по вкусу, так и по ценовой категории.


I stayed in the square for about 20 minutes. The square remained deserted. And I went down Kazanskaya Street. My car is parked there.

Я пробыл на площади около 20 минут. Площадь так и осталась пустынной. А я пошел по улице Казанской. Там стоит мой авто.








This is the Cathedral of the Savior Not Made with Hands. It is being restored with donations from parishioners. The recovery is going on quite successfully.
What does the expression "Not Man-made Saved" mean? I have no idea.

Это Собор Спаса Нерукотворного. Его восстанавливают на пожертвования прихожан. Довольно успешно идет восстановление.
Что означает выражение "Спас Нерукотворный"? Понятия не имею.


There is a cafe "Fabrika" near the cathedral. It's probably true that there used to be some kind of factory there. Or maybe it was originally a church building, because they are made in the same style. And the brickwork is very old.

Рядом с собором находится кафе "Фабрика". Наверное и правда раньше там была какая-то фабрика. А может изначально эот было церковное здание, потому что они сделаны в одном стиле. И кладка кирпича очень старая.


In Kirov, as in all cities nowadays, there is a big problem with parking. On Kazanskaya Street, an old street, there are a lot of state institutions in old buildings. The street is narrow and there are cars everywhere. I used to drive down this street a lot, but those were different times, then there were much fewer cars in the city.

В Кирове как и во всех городах в наше время есть большая проблема с парковками. На Казанской улице,старинной улице, очень много госучреждений в старых зданиях. Улица узкая и везде стоят автомобили. Раньше я часто едил по этой улице, но это были другие времена, тогда в городе было гораздо меньше автомобилей.


I realized a simple thing - I don't walk around the city much. All my summer walks are connected with hiking in nature. And in winter I don't want to go at all. In winter, it can be very difficult to move on your feet in our city. There is a big problem with sidewalks. Utilities do not clean snow well. And often they just sprinkle salt on the tracks. Because of salt, shoes deteriorate.
But while there is still no snow, you can take a little walk around the city.

Я понял простую вещь - я мало гуляю по городу. Все мои летние прогулки связаны с походами на природе. А зимой совсем не хочется ходить. Зимой в нашем городе бывает очень трудно передвигаться на ногах. Есть большая проблема с тротуарами. Коммунальные службы плохо убирают снег. И часто просто посыпают солью дорожки. Из-за соли портится обувь.
Но пока еще нет снега, можно немного погулять по городу.
