Born to be wild, to walk in the woods

in Wednesday Walk10 months ago

The density of the city center and the dense concrete infrastructure makes it less of an interest to walk here, even though I know it has many interesting things to see. Because I will move a little further from the center and choose some low hill to walk, even though there are only trees with many boring monochromatic things, it makes me happier and full of excitement because no its space. I mean beauty that I can create myself or actively observe it. The process of finding moments of peace in your heart because the first days of the work week are full of stress.

I chose a direction I have never been to to the West of the city, there are passes I have never gone through, and of course I have to go by motorbike when it is about 25km from the city. And I walked and looked over the hills along the way to find a suitable destination near some villages of the Churu ethnic group living on the outskirts of the city. They live on the hillsides and cultivate themselves with short-term cash crops or vegetables. Perhaps they are leading a simple life in this low mountain area because many city people are longing for such a life. Because I also have the same desire,
not too crowded in the crowded city and narrow space with a view of the forests.

I stopped at a small concrete road branched by a highway pass, which headed up the mountainside. And from there I left my motorbike on the side of the road and looked for some other more interesting rock trails to hike. In other words, the fewer signs of human being observed, the more excited I am. And I also chose a small path covered with barely visible grass to walk and let these thatched grasses freely cling to and itch myself with the sharp leaves.

Partly I choose places like this because I can easily find long dead logs and the solid core has been condensed to smooth the bark and I can research and pick up some small sticks to about decorating miniatures with moss and lichens. Recently making some aquariums combining stone, wood and moss is quite attractive in the market and I have some plans for it. The hills many people know will have fewer of these logs because others have collected it. I combine walking and foraging to find the ingredients first and plan to harvest it after I have prepared the means to transport it back next time.

A path leading to another small hill with this attractive color is due to a diseased new pine tree? I'm not sure if that's the case or it's the product of them actively burning the vegetation on the ground to prevent forest fires before. Anyway, it represents the continuous exploitation of the forest for timber, and the replanting of young trees will take a long time to compensate for the old green forests.

Wandering in the woods has long been my hobby, and finding differences in similarities. Like a tree of different colors with the surrounding pine forest, it is also a point to draw my attention and realize the contrast and diversity as a philosophical way of life. I may be confusing it, but I think you know what I mean.
Thanks for reading and following it.

Such a gorgeous place, the mosses and the trees so very different from where I'm from, thanks for sharing!

I haven't gone into the more desolate areas yet but each go gets me further with better health. Because I'm still in the rehabilitation phase after the injury.
Thank you @sensiblecast

I'm sorry to hear that, just take it easy for now and hoping for your swift recovery!

Spectacular images of forest, mountain, it is also artisan because he thought of collecting sticks and moss, that makes the walk more interesting. The landscape calls for peace, I would happily stay there for a long time.

Well thank you very much. I always try to find the most simple and invisible beauty. It has better proactive pre-installed

What a peaceful place it is. I like the green color here. Your article is very engaging. Thanks for your interesting sharing

Beautiful. Do you mean terrariums? I'd love to see them!

I'm like you... I love space and no people on my walks!

Yes, and it is we who will find the invisible beauty that many people accidentally pass by or do not appreciate it. Especially to beautify your own soul.
Thank you @riverflows
