Wednesday Walk - Swimming in Saint Brieuc and Walking around Guingamp

Hi, Wednesday Walk community! So, last week I missed publishing on the day as the kids and I got sick. My son threw up and got dehydrated, got a heavy cough, and my daughter started sneezing and coughing as well. We were just observing that hoping nobody will be sent to the hospital. Luckily, my son recovered and starts to drink milk and orange juice (which triggered the threw up), and also eat solids. My daughter is having a clogged nose.

For today's Wednesday Walk, I will continue my story of when I was pregnant in December 2019. My husband promised to swim in an indoor swimming pool as it is good exercise for a pregnant woman. We went to Saint Brieuc, 30 minutes away from our home.

They got an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

I did some 20-30 laps of swimming here while pregnant. I make sure to wear my swimming goggles or snorkeling mask and fins to help me swim.

After swimming, I went to the shallow swimming pool good for the taller kids. Just need to relax and walk around the pool.

This pool is warmer than the Olympic-sized pool.

I also enjoyed the jacuzzi which has the warmest temperature. We enjoyed swimming here for 2-3 hours.

The camera I was using was an underwater camera, Olympus Tough TG-3.

Before going home, we visited another town.

The basilica of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours is the principal monument in the market town of Guingamp, a market town in the eastern part of the Cotes d'Armor department of Brittany.

I got the chance to visit the church of Guingamp but wasn't able to tour around inside. I took a few photos. But my underwater camera was giving up on me already.

Ah, I remember. This is just the front of the church as it was closed when I got there.

Outside of the church, we can see Leonidas' shop. There are a lot of chocolates.

I was hungry so we walked around and bought a waffle with chocolate on top. I think it's Nutella. Haha!

I think this fountain is called the Fontaine de la Plomée.

We walked further and found a restaurant near the river. I was kind of disappointed because of the camera. I wasn't able to take more photos. Next time, I'll bring a better camera.

We just passed by here to buy some baguettes. Hehe!

Please congratulate me for a productive walk while pregnant, I was improving compared to the previous walks. Hehe!
