Here is a little trip to a farm for this #wednesdaywalk
It was a cold and windy spring day and all the animals were hunkered down. This is one cold turkey.
Here's a horse facing the cold wind blowing in its face X-).
This one decided to gallup into the wind.
This one found a nice sunspot to warm up in.
I bet they can't wait until it gets warm again.
The sheep don't seem to mind the cold wind. They have plenty of wool to keep them warm.
The little lambs are sharing body heat with their mom.
Soon these poor sheep will be too hot when it warms up around here.
The baby calf decided to stay in the barn to keep warm.
The chickens were hunkered down in the hedges to keep warm.
I have many images of the chickens but I'll save them for #featheredfriday :-)

I think they are draft horses. They were bread to be strong for pulling carts that's why their legs are massive compared to other horses.
Yeah, that's right.
They only have the power to attract.
I think they will lose to horses when they run.
Yeah definitely work horses they would be too slow for race horses.

You got the sheep to smile for you! Those are some big beautiful horses, the bay is a big fellow for sure!
I think the cool air was perfect temperature for them in the sun. I've been there during the summer and those poor sheep are panting from the heat. Those horses are pretty sturdy. Hopefully I can go to the horse dressage show this year and get all the different breeds and some jump tricks on film.
That would be really cool, dressage it beautiful to watch, the horses are so graceful. When I had horses I rode western and showed in 4H, my quarter horse always did good. I used to barrel race also, not so good at that but it was always fun.
Love the shots of what we used to call "champion mudders" back when we had horses in mud season....
The look like they rolled around in the mud a bit. Their big hooves should help keep them from slipping/sinking as badly in deep mud.

My fiance was bugging me to get a house with land for chickens after visiting that farm :-) Unfortunately many of the towns here don't allow chickens in your back yard.
Yes, I understand you perfectly) I want to start a farm myself, but now there is no possibility, absolutely ...
Land is cheap out in the rural areas but my job keeps me where the people are.
You are lucky, our land is very expensive ((
Well, if we proceed from our earnings, I think for you it will generally be a penny)
