Wednesday Walk Teddys Beach Tiverton Rhode Island
This post if for Wednesday walk challenge And Make me Smile Collaboration challenge, initially our collaboration was once a month but due to the popularity of it we have decided to make the collab a weekly thing :)

Most of my walks of recent have been here in New Bedford or neighboring cities, recently I decided to venture a little further and headed to Tiverton in Rhode Island, to a little beach called Teddys Beach

This shot gives an idea of how little the beach is, I thought from looking at it on the map it was a bit bigger, and didn't have that special a sunrise, but was nice to visit somewhere else
Hard to see in this photo but you may see a string of lights off to the left of this next image which is the Sakonett River bridge, which is lit up with colored lights at night, seeing it this morning has lead me to check out some of the bridges in this area, including trying to get shots of that bridge, which I have not had any success with yet, but I have got shots of other bridges I will share at some stage

I was the only one on the beach, but saw a few small boats heading out I am guessign for early morning fishing

Back from the beach is a green area, well I guess on a good day is green, a lot of it was bare and parched after the long dry spell we had

Beside the beach is this marina, I considered walking out on it to see if I could get a shot of the bridge, and I probably should have, but there were plenty of signs saying restricted access, members only, no trespassing etc, there was only one person there loading things onto his boat and I probably could have gone out there, but I have this silly habit of not ignoring no trespassing signs LOL

at the other end of the beach is private property and beach with their own pier and a boat lift complete with a small boat on it

I enjoyed walking back and forth along the beach enjoying a nice morning and listening to the waves gentle rolling in

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

Happy #WednesdayWalk! Nice beach. Different beach and some different colors - purples and yellow. I always like seeing a marina early in the morning. The whole day is ahead. What activity awaits? how many fisherman are on their way or even already out? whats the story behind each boat?

This was clearly a nice walk on a nice fresh, peaceful morning.
Yes, sometimes I admit the temptation is there to go ahead and investigate, but I have the same "habit" as you... If there are "No Trespassing" signs, I do not ignore them and I stay out. I guess that is what they are there for and for a good reason.

Wow, this looks like a really beautiful area! I am always amazed at how much Rhode Island has to offer for being such a small state. If you have never been before you should take the trip to Newport and check out the cliff walk. It was pretty awesome and the houses are just amazing!
Ohh yes I do want to visit Newport sometime, from what I have read there is so much there to see, its about an hour from me so not really that far, but far enough to make it a challenge to get there explore and take photos and get home before the wife wakes up
Im hoping she will feel better with time and want to explore and do some day trips with me

Do it!! You will absolutely love it and want to go back again and again. Newport is where I have taken some shots of a house built on a big rock in the harbor there. It is near the bridge. The early autumn is gorgeous with all the sailboats still decorating the harbor. You have never seen so many!!!
That is quite enterprising getting there and getting back! I would never be able to do it!
OHH I will visit New port and other places in RI sometime I have a list of spots I want to get i]to not sure when but I will :)

I should use presets or save some I very seldom use them it would probably speed up my editing process sometimes
Wow, these are such beautiful shots. In the second and third pictures, the surface of the sea looks almost glassy. The beauty of the place is tempting to break the rule and go ahead but I am glad you didn't do that as getting caught may ruin the experience. Yep, it's a beautiful place, you should enjoy the atmosphere as best you can.
I also enjoy adapting to an atmosphere that I have rarely encountered before.
I do my best to try and enjoy the atmosphere and peace wherever I go for my morning walks its a refreshing way for me to start the day
This unique landscape with these wonderful colors of the sky, combined with the absence of the world, are an ideal way of contemplation and healing. My greetings sir!

What a beautiful morning! I am a huge fan of the curvature of the beach in a few of your shots. It gives the scene a gentle feel to it. I love that you get out there, the night almost over so that you can present the breaking of the day.
Soft mutations into the oncoming day, starting off gently, giving the day a chance to wake up. Another whole color palette will be on its way soon, for all of us. I daresay that the winter sky here is stunning~

BEERKING.Definitely beautiful sunset shots from that beach. The sound of the waves must have felt calming and I love the bright colors in the sky as the sun slowly comes through. It's always a good thing to respect the no trespassing signs, it reminds me of the beautiful places around foreign embassies with good landscaping and beautiful blooming gardens but photography is prohibited. I always keep off to avoid arrest and fines. Anyway, thank you for sharing and keep enjoying your day :}
