A great way to become more active is to go for a walk.
Walking is the most popular exercise activity, which makes perfect sense. It is free and doesn't require any specific tools.
Walking is a low-impact exercise that can be done at your own speed, requires little equipment, and is always available. You can walk without being concerned about the dangers of more strenuous activity. Walking is not limited to leisurely neighbourhood walks.
Yesterday, Wednesday, me and my colleagues had a walk as we went to the place of our dance practice for the upcoming fiesta in our town. There are things that we saw along our way that made our walk very enjoyable.
We are amazed at the road's splendour as we walk along it, surrounded by high, green trees that make the environment more relaxed. It shields us from the sun's heat, making our walk pleasant. I adore how the sun reflects, and the trees' shades hide the path. We feel more at ease and quite tranquil because of how green the trees are.
Seeing the street so clean and the people so engaged in their work makes us happier. Since we had already seen the many types of houses before entering the location, I was fortunate to witness this lovely greenhouse. I love that someone else loves green, too. I genuinely enjoy the hue since it makes my eyes happy.
We first saw their vegetable garden as we drew closer to the event venue, the Aglao Elementary School. We are astonished by how steadily and beautifully the plants grow.
Finally, we went to the school. The view of one of the area's most well-known lakes, "Mapanuepe Lake," is one thing that grabs our attention.
The school is incredibly tidy and vibrant. Some lovely plants with lovely flowers add to the beauty and life of the surroundings. Roses are another thing that grabs my attention. Since roses are one of my favourite flowers, I seized the opportunity to capture a picture.
There are numerous fruit-bearing trees all around the school's backyard. There are several fruit-laden banana, tamarind, and coconut trees. We are truly amazed by the area's beauty as we explore it.
They gave us two varieties of bananas, "Senorita and Lakatan," to make our walk more enjoyable.
We had a great time on our walk, and having friends along for the journey made it all the more unique and unforgettable. While strolling, we discussed a lot of topics and shared many issues. It is true that social activities, like walking, can provide the best of both worlds: a healthy dosage of daily exercise and time to socialize and form new acquaintances. The connections made at these gatherings offer walkers the chance to ask for help and support when they are having a hard time. A problem shared is a problem half, as the adage goes.
