Wednesday Walk: Old Pond

image.png

There are places where you want to return again and again. Here is peace and quiet. Here is an amazing thing - a park in the forest. This place is not far from my house and it's called Old Pond.

Wild grapes. I love this plant very much. In autumn it becomes bright crimson. It is great for hedges.

I definitely come here once a season - it's a tradition. But this year the war broke my plans, broke the tradition, as it broke the lives of many of my fellow citizens. During the occupation, I often wondered if this place had survived, because Russian fascists destroy and burn everything in their path. But fortunately the Old Pond survived. Maybe this happened due to the fact that it is hidden in the forest and the enemy simply did not get there.

If you have such a desire, you can take a boat ride.

This is an amazing place. First of all, it is very beautiful. Secondly, rabbits and ducks live there. No one offends them and they run freely throughout the territory and ask for a treat from those who come there to relax.

Of course, you can take your dog there, but only if it is well-mannered and will not frighten other animals.

Throughout the territory you will find gazebos where you can sit, relax, drink a cup of coffee.

Or just sit on a bench.

Funny sculptures can brighten up your loneliness if you come alone.

And this is probably a place for lazy mushroom pickers.

Are you a big company? Then this huge table will suit you!

If your bird flew in with you, it will also find a place.😉

There is also a special place for barbecue lovers.

Our planet is a beautiful and amazing place. It itself is like a huge picture that is constantly changing, showing us an endless series of attenuation and rebirth of nature, the triumph of life. Our task is to save it for our children and grandchildren.

"A lazy mushroom hunter", that describes me to a tee. Probably explains why I haven't had any wild mushrooms to eat for a very long time.

I loved picking mushrooms when I was young. Now I prefer to buy champignons)))

I like such places to rest my mind. I see Seal was happy with being there :)

Yes, she likes to walk)
