Lucky you, I love going to the zoo to see the cats but our local zoo decided to convert to a drive-through zoo this spring. You'd see me parked in front of the cats and everyone honking at me to move, it just eliminates all features of being in the wild when stuck in a traffic jam.
You should photoshop some pictures of Joe Exotic in there for your next post idea.😹
A drive though zoo seems neat. It's a shame there are no parking spots because half the zoo is uninteresting. Also, it depends on the time of day one goes. On occasion, the zoo is open at nights (certain areas anyway), and it's awesome.
Imagine that! They are used to roam around in the animal kingdom with miles of space and now if man doesn't keep them in a cage, they will be killed.
We have turned this world into a terrible place for these beauties and so many others.

Conservation is important. But sadly, it is no longer enough.
We need to leave large areas of the planet for nature, with no people allowed to enter for any reason.
Totally agreed. We have some very large nature reserves, but they allow people to visit. Ant of course there are also the poachers that raid the places. They are armed with high velocity rifles by the syndicates and they are busy stripping Africa of its natural wildlife!
I like that the tigers have a nice space and not just some boxed up cage.
Yeah, the area actually isn't that large, but it is natural enough with plenty of things for them to do.
They do have a bigger pen in the back where they get to spend time in the evening and mornings when the zoo is less busy. I think the tigers take turns getting to go to that front pen.
