So I decided to join the artist CYOA quest on the zealy campaign and it's been a challenge I haven't really relished. A lot of people have been asking me to unleash my artistic side and even if there's nothing to unleash, I just feel that I really won't do that bad.
So, I decided to create a sketch without color, using the pencil to shade and add the details on the lion. So I choose a standing lion the reason I decided to Sketch a standing lion was because that's the only way I could create an impression of interaction between the zealy logo and the Leo logo.

Creating a concept
I showed all the process, starting from the head of the lion which is the most difficult part. The mane of the lion was the most difficult part. Getting the contours right was also very difficult, but I got through with it. The zealy logo was also easier to draw.
Because of the simplicity of the angles, it was easier to get it done. The concept was to put the lion in between the zealy logo and the Leo logo, to create an interaction, and of course, I added a "thought bubble" as well.
Another difficult aspect was the Leo logo. It has the rune-like carving that makes up the lion's head. The logo was quite complex because of the details, but it's a rookie drawing and I decided not to worry much, instead, I chose to shade the runes, while doing the carvings and runes the way I deemed fit.
I paid attention to the Leo logo as well, because that's where most of the work is. I used two different types of pencils, a light one to get the lines right and a darker one to get the shadings correctly. So here's a process, from the beginning to the end. The zealy campaign is heating up and I hope to complete the whole quest.
These are all of the processes, and I'm hoping to do another form of sketch in the next one.

Nice job going into the artist side. I didn't even bother with it because I suck at art. If I did, I felt that I would use AI to generate me something and I don't consider that as valid.
I don't think they'd even approve AI art and the reason is because it might not be accepted in the communities you need to post them. But still, you could make efforts to get something decent done
Well, I wasn't really planning to and I don't think my drawings would be any good. I guess it would look more like a stick figure. I'll pass and I finished my threads goal so I am happy with my current zealy board rankings.
