As I mentioned in my last post I've been experimenting with bringing everything together in my toolchest. 3D, 2D, photobashing, the whole shebang to try to create images that look cohesive that don't look like the frankenstein monsters that they are in reality.

In this one I started off in a new piece of software I've been learning, but I'm still a total noob at, World Creator. You use it to create terrain maps.

I really have no idea what I'm doing in this app yet and I need to study up a bit more on the visual characteristics and anatomy of particular biomes, but it's pretty easy to just go in and make something a bit generic.

So I brought that into Cinema 4D for texturing and rendering with Octane to get the base for the paintover.

There's actually a few more steps to the painting, but at this point I upres'ed to another file and continued with that one and I don't feel like making a seperate gif just for the last like two steps. Anyway...

That's about it for this one, hope you all like! :)

Absolutely ace! This reminds me that I need to create a visual terrain for a green-screen music video I shot at the start of November 😬

I have no idea where to start 😆

Well, you can try World Creator. It's a bit complicated to get something specific, but it's pretty easy following a few tutorials to get SOMETHING that looks cool :)

Awesome advice - I’ll do just that!! Thanks man.
Is World Creator free?

No it is not unfortunately.

Pants. I’ll watch some videos and see if it’s something worth buying

damn, that looks sick!

I think I've played with World Builder previously. I don't think I even got as far as making something generic XD

You like your snow covered rough terrain don't you XP

Haha, yea, I have it saved out as a preset now so I can drag and drop it on any terrain and BOOM, snowy mountains.

Hopefully my niece @anusham whom I onboarded a day ago will learn from this great community and grow her skills.
