Boat

Tried a simple boat and reflection today.
Sketch was simple outline of the boat.
Made a simple sky without clouds with cobalt blue and Payne's grey

Then went on to finish water. The first layer I painted became too light, effect of switching papers.. I did last few paintings on another paper which keeps the colour rich and this handmade paper tends to absorb in a lot and it makes painting look duller.

So I had to do another layer on top of it to make it brighter

Finally the boat. Used little white to make the ropes. Messed up the thin lines.. should have used just pencil for it 😁
