Season 11 has started!

The 139. edition was played with 11 players!

In the first round of the new season, I tried a new format. All games were played with time handicap. For every 100 points difference in the rating, the stronger player had to wait 20 seconds. The reactions were consistently positive and the games were a bit more balanced than usual. This can be clearly seen in the table. The better players are now no longer 20 points ahead of the weaker players, but were still able to prevail. To what extent all games were carried out according to the new rules, I can not say, there were no complaints. If there are no complaints in the comments section, we will maintain these new rules this season. I ask for numerous opinions, thank you!

In der ersten Runde der neuen Saison habe ich ein neues Format ausprobiert. Alle Spiele wurden mit Zeit Handicap gespielt. Für jeweils 100 Punkte Differenz in der Wertung galt es für den stärkeren Spieler 20 Sekunden zu warten. Die Reaktionen waren durchwegs positiv und die Spiele auch etwas ausgeglichener als sonst. Ganz deutlich ist das in der Tabelle zu sehen. Die besseren Spieler haben nun keine 20 Punkte Vorsprung mehr zu den schwächeren, konnten sich aber dennoch durchsetzen. Inwieweit alle Spiele nach den neuen Regeln ausgeführt wurden kann ich nicht sagen, Reklamationen gab es jedenfalls keine. Wenn im Kommentarbereich keine Beschwerden auftauchen werden wir diese neuen Regeln in dieser Saison beibehalten. Ich bitte um zahlreiche Wortmeldungen, danke!
