Fair Famosa - new tangled piece on NFTShowroom

Welcome to Fair Famosa!

Yeih! New art! And it’s a Tangled piece too!

This was one of those paintings that were a little hard to grasp at some point. Some pieces are super friendly and open and tell me what they are right away, but this one needed a little more attention ^^
I kept coming back to it for weeks actually when we were still on the road, played a lot with colors and shapes, got stuck a few times … but now it’s done!
And I like it at lot :)

If you like it too you can even buy it! It's minted as a single edition on @nftshowroom:

When I work in Procreate I don’t have to worry about taking process pictures anymore, because the program records everything I do and puts it into a nice timelapse video, which is great!
I love watching those videos myself, it is quite exciting to recap my own creative process, especially with paintings that took me weeks to finish, with a lot of breaks in between sessions. It reminds me of all the little details and creatures that didn’t make it into the final piece but that I really liked and were kinda sad to have to let go.

So here is my whole painting process in 30 seconds with sweet ukulele music in the background (played by myself):

And here is the first sketch. It stayed like this for quite a while while I thought (and hoped ^^) the sketch was already finished but at the same time had the feeling that there's still something missing.

It’s always worth listening to my intuition, because then those lovely little clouds/balloon creatures showed up, which I really fell in love with :)

This is so cool, I wish I could do process videos like this in Photoshop but so far haven't found an easy way!

Thank you! <3
yes, I'm super glad procreate does it for me, because I keep forgetting taking screenshots and everything. Screen record could also work, but it's much more work afterwards, because I would have to cut all the boring parts out when I just sit there staring at the painting ^^

I've considered that but screen record includes my pen cursor I guess you'd call it, I have an app on my phone that screen records everything and omits the cursor, wish it had a desktop version, best of both worlds haha
