Cada día es distinto y es difícil que podamos decir que somos la misma persona que ayer. Hay cosas que quizá hemos añadido o cosas que hemos sacado de nuestra vida y en profundidad… en lo más profundo, no somos lo mismo que ayer.
Esta ilustración está lista desde hace dos días pero es hasta ahora que puedo publicarlo.
He trabajado horas continuas en esto, tomando pocos descansos y he quedado con fatiga.
Considero que he logrado algo bueno aquí y que ya está listo para presentarse.
Every day is different and it is difficult for us to say that we are the same person as yesterday. There are things that perhaps we have added or things that we have taken out of our life and in depth... deep down, we are not the same as yesterday.
This illustration has been ready for two days but it is only now that I can publish it.
I have worked continuous hours on this, taking few breaks, and have been left with fatigue.
I reckon I've accomplished something good here and it's ready to go.
En esta primera etapa del dibujo me dedico a las líneas y al llenado del color con una paleta de colores que puse a la mano para usar el gotero.
In this first stage of the drawing I dedicate myself to the lines and the filling of the color with a palette of colors that I put at hand to use the dropper.
Empecé a emborronar algunos detalles básicos del vestido y el velo que cubre a esta mujer, poniendo la base/idea para luego agregar adornos.
I started to blur some basic details of the dress and the veil that covers this woman, putting the base/idea to later add decorations.
A este punto empecé el trabajo de difuminado de la piel y la aplicación de algunas sombras que luego retocaría.
At this point I started the work of blurring the skin and the application of some shadows that I would later retouch.
Me dediqué a la tarea de darle forma a los ojos, poniendo incluso las pestañas una por una. Al delinear los labios tuve bastantes dudas hasta que logré darle la forma correcta, así mismo di un necesario retoque en la nariz.
I dedicated myself to the task of shaping the eyes, even putting on the eyelashes one by one. When outlining the lips I had a lot of doubts until I managed to give it the correct shape, likewise I gave a necessary touch up on the nose.
Cuando llegué al punto de hacer el cabello tuve un par de problemas con capas que había juntado previamente. Por lo que después de haber hecho las cejas y de haber hecho el cabello me dediqué a seccionar las capas poniendo las piezas por separado.
La diferencia puede notarse en la espalda de la mujer, en como el velo y parte trasera del vestido ahora están en orden.
When I got to the point of doing the hair I had a couple of issues with layers that I had previously put together. So after having done the eyebrows and having done the hair I dedicated myself to sectioning the layers putting the pieces separately.
The difference can be seen in the woman's back, in how the veil and back of the dress are now in order.
Terminé de poner adornos de plumas y perlas, de limpiar los bordes de la piel para luego dar brillos y sombras. A este punto casi listo solo faltaban unas sombras extra que dieran mas profundidad.
I finished putting ornaments of feathers and pearls, cleaning the edges of the skin and then adding highlights and shadows. At this point, almost ready, the only thing missing was some extra shadows that would give more depth.
También me dediqué a la tarea de hacer un GIF y finalmente estaba listo para presentarlo a ustedes.
I also got down to the task of making a GIF and was finally ready to present it to you.
