Hello, dear community... today i bring you another finished project. I admit that i thought i would leave this project unfinished, because it usually happens to me that in the middle of my creative process, i get other ideas for other projects, then i end up getting bored of the one i'm doing and i want to start the other one😝. For my peace of mind, i noticed that it is not a rare thing, it happens to many, it is mostly because it is not a good idea when we let a project drag on too long and often we put it on pause; Just that happened to me, but i finally managed to overcome that obstacle halfway through with a few modifications.

Initially i didn't have a concrete idea, i just wanted to go back to drawing skulls, which i like very much because they are a classic and go with everything. I didn't expect to digitize it, much less add poetry and animation.

I just took my paper, started sketching something that i thought would end up being a typical grayscale drawing, probably. But when i finished my sketch, i liked the design and it seemed perfect to make the Lineart in digital. Then i had another big doubt or rather i was undecided between doing it in vectors or bitmaps. I chose vectors, because i wanted something a little different from what i usually do, at least in texture.

I started tracing the line art in Adobe Illustrator as i mentioned, using the brush tool, i created a basic art brush that would allow me to make somewhat irregular strokes and sensitive to the pressure of my pen. I was tracing it all grouped on the same layer, since honestly, it was supposed to be a simple illustration, without so much fuss. (As always deluded, believing i'll settle for something minimalist😌).

My Chamomile Effect: At this stage everything was apparently going well, until it was time to add color. By now many will know that it becomes my moment of chaos and artistic existential crisis. And so it was, to calm it down i need to add more complex details, so i complicated the whole design; more flowers here and there and how to forget, eyes, i needed to add eyes everywhere to focus again. Those little eyes have a chamomile effect on my being, probably because they connect me to my childhood. That's how i was able to finish it successfully and of course add a lot more details to the flowers, i was undecided whether to add dots or lines, in the end i decided for lines which create an interesting visual effect and relaxes me a lot too. From now on i will call this stage when i connect with the strokes and figures that bring me back to my center, it's like my meditative moment while drawing.

Drawing something for the sake of drawing is not my thing. For me, these moments always become a bit dramatic, because many emotions come to the surface in the process, those who know a bit of psychoanalysis i suppose they will see a lot of things in my drawings... That's why it becomes a bit intimidating at times.

Just as i didn't intend to add animation, much less some poetry. For those who don't know, besides drawing, i usually write poetry, it's just not something i like to show on the blog, i usually share it in a literary group in the city where i live called "Página en blanco and nothing else. This time i wanted to add a bit of that to my illustration as a decorative element and turn it probably into a NFTPOEM... Just one of my poems was perfect for this piece as it dives into that journey of transformation that brings us the arcane of death, one of my favorite arcana, that transcend from darkness to light ... a rebirth, a new life with new perspectives. It was originally written in Spanish and i left it as it is, because poetry really cannot be translated, since it loses its essence, it would have to be modified many things, it would have to find a very good interpreter who could find a way to fit the same feeling in another language. But i will try to translate the meaning, the original poetry in spanish you can read in the spanish part of this post
