I love to write. I'm not the best writer in the world but I like developing stories for entertainment purposes and who know maybe one of those stories might become a book, a graphic novel or a game. The short story that I want to share today is part of the content creation contest promoted by @theycallmedan. It is called #BeInspired and the goal is to create any type of content using the tag.
This contest was born because a lot of people are losing motivation and starting to get inactive because the dump on the Hive price. Everybody is invited to create and share your content, maybe you can win a big vote from Dan.
Here is my short story:
Not too long ago, on a windy afternoon, there was a young man walking through the streets looking for adventure. His name was Tim. Tim had a great sense of humor, and he liked to meet new people. He grew up on the streets and knew how to take care of himself. Growing up he did many odd jobs, and he always tried to stay away from illegal activities. He had good friends in both sides of the city.
When he was younger he had to make difficult decisions, sometimes he skipped many meals to help other children in who were on the same situation. Tim knew that he wanted a better life, so he always tried to stay positive and do good for the community. His friends were nice to him but sometimes looked down to him with pity but looked for ways to help him. Many times they helped Tim find better jobs and helped him get a better place to live, Tim was happy to have their friendship.
Last year Tim lost his job and could not afford the room where he was staying. This time he did not have the courage to ask for help, he wanted to overcome this situation by himself. Sadly he ran out of time, and he could not find a solution. He was homeless again.
Tim had to sleep on the main avenue's park for some nights. On one of those quiet nights there was a subtle flash of light that woke Tim up. He thought that it was Bob, one of the policemen that usually patrol at night, but when he woke up there was no one on the park. There was another strong flash of light that left him blind for a few seconds, Tim was a little afraid but wanted to find the source of the light.
A few milder flashes followed, there was something on the grass near the playground. It was a small rock that had many small sparkles around it. Tim grabbed it and he instantly had a vision. A lot of information started filling up his head, forgotten memories and things he never understood were now clear to him. His mind was full of wisdom and his head felt light and fast. He knew what to do, he found answers for all the questions he never asked.
Next morning Tim knew exactly what he should do. He went to the office of his friend Ross who was the wiser man in town. Ross could not believe it, Tim never had a formal superior education and now there he was, clearing theory after theory and making scientific statements that almost anyone could make. Tim helped Ross solve many of the problems that were giving him a headache, Ross was very happy and offered Tim a partnership to make research and to travel the world solving every day problems and also problems that haven't even been attempted to be solved by anyone.
Some months have passed and now Tim is the wisest and most intelligent man in the world. He is ready for adventure and has been recognized by governments of all the world as the brightest man of the in the history. Tim doesn't know what gave him this power, he just knows that he wants to help and that he has a great responsibility with the world. He has made more friends and sure some enemies too. Tim is always happy to help.

Tim sure just needs one moment to turn things around. I think it was not the small rock, but it was Ross.
Nice theory. Was it his plan all along? When people do good things when they have no power, they will do greater things when they got the power.
