"Is there joy in being lonely?" the wooden figure inside the small cave asked silently while it watched the world pass by. There wasn't much to see since nobody passed by at all. Unless you count falling leaves and growing grass as passers-by.
"Is there sadness in dreaming of happiness, of togetherness?" asked the figure one morning. What made it think of being more that one? How can a life of oneness stem the thought of manifold? How can your imagination reach outside of your world when you can't imagine that there is an outside.
Being lonely is to be one. There are many ones. Can ones become twos? Can their loneliness and sadness be transformed into togetherness and happiness?
Yet, being not aware of happiness in togetherness, are you really sad when being alone?
It's all in your mind, being sad or being satisfied is a state of mind.
Little they know that it's so hard to find
One rich man in ten with a satisfied mind.

The concept of oneness is something I find fascinating. All conscious souls are one. There is no two. The conscious self is just trapped inside the body structure. You and I are one.
