Darkness and silence
Darkness and silence
in the bodies
and from them, only darkness and silence are born.
Dust to dust and ashes to ashes
let death not deceive itself
hiding in cocoons of other worlds
she knows for certain who is hers.
She smells, she bites, she moves
and even if she pretends to be in the arms of Morpheus
she always remembers who she has taken to Hades.
Dust to dust and ashes to ashes,
that time regrets to have lain down
next to a worn-out ghost
who waited patiently to return
from the valley of the shadows on the wings of the raven
that desecrated the resurrected temple.
Dust to dust and ashes to ashes,
that we shall all die in the waiting
for the same hope of the battered body
that sleeps, sick with time
withered by sand and desert.

Oscuridad y silencio
en los cuerpos
y de ellos, sólo nacen oscuridad y silencio.
Polvo al polvo y cenizas a las cenizas
que a la muerte no se engaña
escondiéndose en capullos de otros mundos,
ella sabe de sobra quiénes son suyos.
Ella olisquea, muerde, mueve
y aunque simulen estar en brazos de Morfeo,
siempre recuerda a quién llevó ante Hades.
Polvo al polvo y cenizas a las cenizas,
que el tiempo se arrepiente
de haberse acostado al lado
de un espectro desgastado
que esperó pacientemente para volver
del valle de las sombras sobre las alas del cuervo
que profanó el templo resurrecto.
Polvo al polvo y cenizas a las cenizas,
que todos moriremos en la espera
por la misma esperanza del cuerpo maltrecho
que duerme, enfermo de tiempo,
mustio de arena y desierto.
