One method of using the PeakD List Function

To start here are my List:the list.jpg

I am currently following 198 people/accounts. They are the ones I like keeping a daily eye on to see what is going on or to keep informed and as a part of my daily entertainment value from Hive.

I follow a lot of different types of accounts and people and my moods swing from one type of content to another type of content on a regular basis. Kind of like how in a doctors office there are a lot of magazines sitting about and we pick up one then another to entertain ourselves or take our mind off of the upcoming event.

Every now and then taking time to add people to list that fit my sometimes mood I can have more localized content to peruse with out having to go on a what may be long hunt to find something that I was interested in.

I find a lot of the people I add to my list via the re-blogs the group of people I do follow make, or from when I visit a community to do a list hunt addition surf.

How to use the List Function

In addition if a post catches your eye you can use the three dot (ellipsis) method to add a user to your list.three dot method.png

Method 1 and the ellipsis method are the easiest methods for me to use as I sometimes spell an account name incorrectly. The manual add function via the list function is the only method to add a community account (hive-#####) to a list. Handy when you have a lot of different communities in one area such as photography, or art.

There are many ways and methods to do the same things, the standard feed of followers and favorites and communities serve their respective purposes and are great for browsing, with the list function you can set up your own aisles in the store so to speak and know what the topics are likely to be about.

So looking at my list if I want to add a little more support to someone I have delegated some HP to it is very easy for me to do so and to see if they have an active post. If I need a laugh I go to my Fun Side list, if I want to hear a new musical creation I drop in on my Music list. Almost hard fork time, - then the Dev list and witness Type list are handy. I think you get the idea.

If you have any questions about the List Function I will be glad to answer if I can or refer you to a post or discord if I can not help.

I have found it to help me in organizing and finding what I want to peruse.

This is a useful tip! I don't follow a lot of people yet, but this might come in handy when the numbers grow. Thanks!

It would even be more useful if you could make a list of users in combination with tags.
Because most of the time the ones I follow have different interests and am I only interested in some of them.
Is there a place where we can post feature requests or something?

Yes you just make a post in the community page with what it is you want or would like to see added to PeakD. The peakd crew are pretty good at looking at and trying to implement them if they think more user would like it.

Two quick examples, for a few they wanted a darker look the night mode, one that matched other night mode operation on other software and applications. PeakD team looked at and decided to make a change.

I wanted easier access to the mute list, I asked and they looked and they implemented a change.

Make a post in About PeakD Community, and I am pretty sure they will look and think about your request.

BTW you can just follow tags as it is right now on the feed page, you just can not do like you want yet and limit the tag follow to the people you follow, I think that would be rather bandwidth intensive but I am not sure.

In the peakd server you can place a request @friendlymoose

You're checking out old replies 😃
Thanks for the tip. I had already found the Peakd discord channel 👍

Very nice gonna reorganise my list again

Right now the list function is kind of broke, they are working on updating it. You can still build list but all the post wont be updating. You can still though have the people on it then just manually go to their blog page.
