Sharing Drafts Function Fully Operational!

PeakD updated their platform a couple days ago, including various new features. I'm just now posting because I don't like to post more than once a day, and yesterday was the Splinterlands Town Hall. Anyways, I have some personal favorites, like sharing drafts and the user top menu, but let's go through each section and share exactly what these new features mean for you as writer, reader and user of the PeakD platform.

HiveAuth as a New Login Option

While this option is still in beta, you have the ability now to login using the HiveAuth, or Hive Authentication Services. As explained on their website, "The Hive Authentication Services provide a way for any applications, (either web, desktop or mobile) to easily authenticate users without asking them to provide any password or private key" Link.

Share Drafts

This new feature is by far MY FAVORITE! The shared drafts addition to PeakD means you can now share your post with other PeakD users. You can allow the person to be an editor so they can change your post as they wish, or you may allow them only to be reader, so that they can have a sneak peak of your amazing work before you share it with the PeakD world. You also can allow those who are editors to publish the post on their account instead of yours!

New and More Responsive Analytics System.

The Analytics System has also received an overall. This is useful for tracking your more detailed information regarding a multitude of areas on PeakD.

If you want to know more about your posts, rewards, votes and account growth, you can visit the analytics page which has provided graphs, giving you a visualization of the engagement on your posts and replies. They also split the analytics and insights dashboard pages. This area has been updated so that the insights you receive regarding your posts are more up-to-date and accurate. You can visit the analytics page in the Dashboard area, found in the drop-down menu under your name. See the example to the right of the pulldown menu to help you locate the analytics but also all sorts of amazing features PeakD has to offer you!

New Redesign

What you'll also notice as well from the picture above is the overall design has changed a bit, now showing my credit resources and my voting levels. You have a much quicker way now to check those resource credits. You also have a redesigned settings page. You now can see your distribution and rewards easier in the Hive Engine Wallet area as well. The overall design is clean, user friendly and so beneficial, depending upon your use of PeakD.

As far as the redesign is concerned, the layout has improved for the Hive Engine Wallet as well, including the addition of a few exchanges to the wallet page such as gate.io and ionomy.

If you're not sure where the wallet area is located, you can access all this information on your pulldown menu when you click on your name in PeakD. There you will see you can access your wallet, although SOMEHOW I feel like you probably found the wallet on PeakD as one of those first things to locate! HA! However, if not, You will see it there on the menu. See the visual aid I've provided to help you locate your wallet. Once you do, you have other categories you can examine for more detailed information about where your tokens are coming from, where to send the crypto, etc.

Finally, the mobile display has always changed and receive enhancements and improvements with positive feedback already from mobile users!

More Technical Changes

Of course, there are more technical changes to PeakD as well, which I will mention briefly here, but I am not an expert in the field so please keep that in mind (and feel free to inform me as I always love learning!)

1. New API nodes and you can see those over at https://beacon.peakd.com/. The purpose of the API nodes is about integrating coding, keeping the site streamlined.

2. In order to avoid an endless amount of connection errors when BeeChat is not functioning properly, this update has made improvements to handle those errors.

3. Fixes and improvements when generating the post outline is also fixes that you may not see, but they are incorporated on the backend of the website to help facilitate a smoother experience.
