Khe Lim - Where We Went! 🛵👭🌿

If it comes to inbound travel, Danang city can be considered as one of the best destination for Vietnamese travelers, however, for young people who love nature, Quang Nam province is the top choice for many backpackers want to conquer and explore.
Quang Nam, especially Dai Loc has a lot of famous natural attractions that all young people want to visit, such as Dong Giang Tea Plantation, Khe Lim, Ngam Doi, Grang Waterfall, etc.

How to get there?

Khe Lim is located in Dai Hong Commune, Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province, about 20km southwest of Ai Nghia Town. And about 60km from Da Nang. From Ai Nghia Town, Dai Loc District, we followed Highway 14B, about 20 Km West, after some hours of driving and rest, we arrived at Khe Lim Scenic Area. (P/s: this is our start point from Danang, please follow Google Map from your departure place)

So far, no one has explained exactly why the name is Khe Lim, when I asked, the locals here laughed and said that there are many Lims here, so the name is Khe Lim.
Khe Lim Waterfall originates from Am Thong mountain, located on the top of HIO-HIU with an altitude of 882m above sea level. From the top of Am Thong mountain, a 20m wide waterfall roars down the stream with many boulders day and night. Many big and small rocks are stacked on each other, forming a lots of waterfalls with white foam, and many floors and steps, flowing through two villages: hamlet 8 and Dong Phuoc village, meeting Cai river and Golden river. Vu Gia river flows down to Dai estuary.

What to do there?

We started in Da Nang, at first we didn't know how to go, so I also looked up on google map. It was not too far, but not too close.

We prepared some fruits and snacks for lunch there as it was quite far to go back at noon. Even though we are local here, we still had many "surprises" later when we reached the place. If you go, you can bring baked goods, it is best to prepare carefully like marinating spices ... up there just open the grill and enjoy.

On the way, there were a lot of beautiful spots on both sides of the road. We were on scoots with many stuff on bikes that made it difficult to stop and enjoy sceneries.

As usual, we love rocks and had a lot of joys with them. My friend, Lola even made a video to keep our memories about this place.
