Traveling in a group provides a one-of-a-kind experience, and going on vacation is an excellent opportunity to acquire new knowledge.

Yes, definitely one of a kind!

Lake Michigan and Huron are beautiful…. You should also drive across the border and check out the North shore of Lake Superior some time. That’s where we go every summer.

I did the circle tour with my parents once or twice when I was younger. I don't remember a ton about it, but I do remember some of it. Awesome photos!

Thanks for the adventure.Glad you made it across the bridge without incident. The food looks great.Look forward to the next post of your stay in upper MI.

I've got about two or three of them out now. I think I probably have another three to go! Lucky you right? :)

The trip was hard and long, what a nice moment to eat chicken and fish with potatoes near the beach it's fun. I want to ask you, is it better to go with an electric car, or is it possible to face the problem of charging?

If you don't have to tow a trailer you might be able to get away with it, but like you said, I am not sure how many charging stations there are in the UP. I think the distances are just too great.

It is good to go as a group, I also like to do camping tours with my relatives and their young children, they make the atmosphere more exciting
Peninsula Michigan sometimes has stormy weather, you should be careful

We had a small storm come through one day, but other than that it was pretty mild. The week before they did have some major storms push through.

Enjoy with your trip!!!

Thank you!

Awesome start to your trip. No wonder you went off the radar! You were having too much fun!

Yeah, it just gets better from there. The drive was a pain, but the end result was amazing.

Damn!! That fish n chips looks good, it will knock us off our national dish over here.

1400 miles is a lot of mileage in a week, but like you say your part of the world is big, it's difficult for us to comprehend sometimes. I did 750 miles the other week during our UK Hive meet up and was exhausted when I got home. And the gas prices is a real killer nowadays to go anywhere. 8 mpg is really low but I imagine you sleep in your trailer so save on accommodation?

If the rest of your food is this good, bring it on! And knowing American portions, I imagine they're gonna be hugh!!!

Yeah, they were totally huge! I've never been over there to try the fish and chips, so I can't really compare, but I know this is some of the best that I have ever had over this way! There is just something really amazing about Whitefish. It is a little drier, but not in a bad way. Flaky, mild fish taste and just delicious! Yes, we basically live in or just outside our trailer, so it saves on having to rent hotel rooms and stuff.

What a trip but sounds like even with delays and the crazy cost for the fuel a great trip

Yeah, it really was! I look forward to writing more about it the rest of this week.

and I look forward to reading them

I came here for the food and I'm not disappointed 😝

Voted on ListNerds!

I have another post I am going to dedicate just to the food we ate!

Nice post @bozz. I have always heard that the UP is awesome in the summer.

It is absolutely amazing!

I have heard about the winds on that bridge. I understand that there are times semis are not allowed to cross. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that is correct. It can be a bit intimidating your first couple of times over it!
