There are some places in the world that feel like they’re not meant to be found easily like they’re hiding, waiting for the right people to discover them. In Palawan, two of those are the Secret Beach and the Secret Lagoon. Even just hearing the names makes you curious, right? Getting there is not simple because you’ll need to squeeze through rock openings, swim through narrow paths, and let the waves help you along. But once you’re inside, it honestly feels like you’re into another world. Calm waters, towering limestone walls, and this peaceful silence that makes you forget everything else. It’s not just a tourist spot.
Now, real talk. I’ve always been shy about wearing a one-piece swimsuit. But my production team family really pushed me to try it, and I’m glad I did. Standing here on this beautiful El Nido beach, feeling the sun, feeling good and it’s a reminder that sometimes you just need people around you to remind you that you’re awesome. I was nervous at first, but their encouragement really made me feel confident and happy.
We had the best time together soaking up the sun, laughing, making memories. This production team were not just coworkers, they’re my family.
Oh, call me Moana with straight hair because kayaking here was wild. The water was crystal clear, the rock formations were insane, and every paddle felt like part of an adventure. I mean, I might not be saving the world, but exploring these lagoons is pretty close to magic. Who needs a big boat when you’ve got a paddle and a little courage.
I squeezed through this small opening, and suddenly, I was standing in a hidden paradise. The lagoon was surrounded by crazy rock formations. If you’re ever in the Philippines, this is one of those places you have to see for yourself.
I even found a little hotel tucked away nearby. Imagine waking up in the morning, stepping right into this hidden paradise, and just soaking it all in. Unreal.
