See The World #37 - Danube Delta Museum, Iacobdeal Lake, Gura Portiței Island

When it comes to get to the South East side of Romania, you will reach some important lands of the country which have been part of the Jurassic Ages and which are full of history and legends but also the proofs of their existence. Though, we can't say that's all you can see as there are plenty of hidden gems which represent a unique thing not only for the country and for Europe, but also for the whole world.

That's how, along with our trips here and there around Dobrogea, we also managed to discover a 2 in 1 building which shelters both a museum and aquarium with lots of rare species and where you can learn more about the fauna and animals you can find while exploring Danube Delta. Too bad too little people know about this place because there are also frequently organized all kind of exhibitions for kids but a playroom for the little ones too. - Centrul Muzeal Ecoturistic "Delta Dunării"

The museum was just the beginning of a great day, from where we continued our journey adventuring on a forgotten path without having any markers to show that it leads somewhere, but we ended up on a 20 meters deep lake which is unique in Romania because it was formed through dynamite explosion from a quarry mine. - Lacul Iacobdeal (Iacobdeal Lake)

Our day came to an end when we reached the Jurilovca Port from where we jumped in the boat one more time and off we've gone on an island called Gura Portitei. Not only that I love wild places and running away from crowded locations, but the island is unique in Europe, being the single place on earth where Danube Delta, The Black Sea and Golovița Lake are meeting. - Gura Portitei

All three places presented are part of our Dobrogea Tour and they represent the last locations we visited back there. However, our adventures and journeys are far away from coming to an end, and I can't wait to show you more amazing places from my country, Romania! :)
