Lübeck which means "Lovely" was founded more than eight centuries ago. Today its city center is Germany's most extensive UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Me and my wife arrived in Lübeck in the evening, after a long road trip from Aarhus - Denmark. Our hotel was next to the Trave river, and that evening people are flocking the area to celebrate Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. After we check-in in the hotel, we went out right away and join the crowd to celebrate the local music festival.
The next morning was Sunday, and we enjoy the quiet and relaxed street atmosphere. Lübeck is a very interesting place as it is packed with lots of interesting buildings and sights. Enjoy!
Thank you for traveling with me!
This is part of my ongoing Travel Visualclips, where I shared a glimpse of my travel visuals and thought. Each series features a paragraph of the history of the place and a paragraph of my thought. Accompanied by no more than fifteen carefully curated images, each series is intended to give readers the umami of travel.
