"The cathedral is also closed. We were lucky to meet one of the two monks who live here and take care of this place. He let us into the chapel and told us a little about the monastery. He also showed a place on the walls, from which you can see the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin of Pochayiv Lavra. And we saw this golden-domed snow-white cathedral in the distance. This is a miracle!"

"With pristine white beach sand and warm gentle waters fit for surfing, our beaches are considered “Blue Flag” accredited status, particularly because they also have trained life savers on duty throughout the summer season. Now a curious item appeared on the beach just recently that will to be adding to the status and attraction of these beach destinations."

"When Sultan Mehmet II decided to convert it into a mosque after the capture of Constantinople, the Byzantine frescoes in the basilica were covered by plaster walls. Over years, since it was declared a museum, the works to discover and preserve the immense treasure have not ceased. The big scaffoldings didn't prevent us from appreciating the greatness of the place which is in a word, amazing."
