Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. We were spoilt for choice today on where Pinmapple would take us on our virtual trip around the world. A genuine culture and although they are very closed, they are quite receptive to tourism, probably because of the economic interest above all, but that doesn't detract from the value of its people and the effort they make in welcoming such different people."

" If there is a sculptural piece that just seeing it makes us know where we are, it is the Cloud Gate or affectionately called by all "The Bean" because it seems that way. A large shiny steel bean that reflects everything around us and us... In different ways, with distorted curved reflections that make us play with the image and with reality.n"

" Sitting on the balcony of my hotel room where the internet reception is the strongest, I take some little moments. Conscious moments to feel the natural rawness of a rustic somewhat dated motel-style hotel, that's enveloped with palms, with an 80's charm. It's nicely cleaned and freshened up daily, but from the look of the furnishings and facilities, I think it would be a safe bet to say that their motto is, "if it ain't broke don't fix it."
