A Late Visit to Baluk Rening Beach

in Pinmapple2 years ago

There is a beach which I wanted to visit, even when I was younger. It seemed to be a place where my friends went to a long time ago. I did not go there because I did not have a motorcycle that time. Fast forward to today, I finally decided to have a look for the cool beach where the youngsters went. It is called Baluk Rening beach.

The first thing came to my mind when stepping on Baluk Rening was, "Okay, I am here now, 25 years late, but here."

I considered this was a good day to be on the beach. The sky was blue with clouds, and the water had the same color as well.

There was no black sand on the side I came in. There was 25 years ago. My "cool" senior high school friends (with their girl friends) with their motor cycle told me the fine black sand on the beach. Obviously, that black sand beach had vanished and replaced by stones and walking path.

I stepped on the walking path and then walk along the beach. I saw a group of senior high school students few hundred meters from me. Did I say senior high school students? Those were your cool friends..

No they were not. It just the mind playing trick with me🤣

The students were collecting trash from the beach. They had sacks on their hands and they picked trash, litter, plastics, and put them into the sacks. They were on their mid-semester break time, and they filled their time with beach cleaned up.

I kept on walking the walking path, trying to get as much of the view as possible.

I noticed the walking path was quite clean. There was no leaves, no litter, no plastics. Those students did a great job cleaning this part of the beach.

I am not pretty sure how long was the paved route along the beach. It was probably more than 500 meters. I walked until the paved route ended.

There was a tree fell down at the end of the paved route. Its root and the soil on it was washed away by the sea water. I also saw some remaining of a buildings, probably a wall, that was destroyed.

This was the reason for the stones to be placed on the beach: to protect the land from being washed away.

Ah, finally I visited Baluk Rening Beach. Take that, cool senior high scholl friends!!!!
