today a little report about my stay in Khao Sok National Park and the Cabana Resort there.

heute einen kleinen Bericht zu meinem Aufenthalt im Khao Sok National Park und dem dortigen Cabana Resort
After an travel time of 3.5h from Suratthani Town, we finally arrived by van at the Khao Sok Cabana Resort.
We were warmly welcomed by the staff, our suitcases were kindly brought to the reception and we could relax and register with our passports.
We booked Khao Sok Cabana for one night each before and after we booked the Smiley House Lake Tour and spent time there on the lake. Here I post you another story.
Nach einer ungfähren Reisezeit von 3,5h von Suratthani Town sind wir mit dem Van endlich im Khao Sok Cabana Resort angekommen.
Wir wurden vom Personal freundlich empfangen, unsere Koffer wurden netterweise zur Rezeption gebracht und wir konnten uns entspannt mit unseren Reisepässen registrieren.
Wir haben Khao Sok Cabana für jeweils eine Nacht gebucht bevor und nachdem wir die Smiley House Lake Tour gebucht hatten und dort auf dem See verbracht haben. Hier poste ich euch noch eine weitere Story.
In the entrance area is the reception with a small restaurant and the sanitary facilities. Here you can smell the fresh jungle air when you arrive and you can already hear the crickets chirping and some toucans or monkeys sounding.
Im Eingangsbereich befindet sich die Rezeption mit einem kleinen Restaurant und den sanitären Anlagen. Hier riecht man wenn man angekommen ist die frische Jungle-Luft und hört bereits die Grillen zirpen und so manch Tukan oder Affen erklingen.
A wide footbridge leads from the entrance area to the individual bungalows which are very well built for the conditions in the middle of the jungle. Wi-Fi, shower and sanitary facilities are integrated in each bungalow. A small front terrace in front of each bungalow makes it possible to spend the evening hours with the sound of animals.
Ein breit ausgebauter Steg führt vom Eingangsbereich zu den einzelnen Bungalows welche für die Verhältnisse mitten im Jungle sehr gut ausgebaut sind. WLAN, Dusche und sanitäre Einrichtungen sind in jedem Bungalow integriert. Eine kleine Vorterrasse vor jedem Bungalow lässt auch die Abendstunden bei klingenden Tiergeräuschen wunderbar aushalten.

eine integrierte Pool-Anlage zum entspannen im Jungle ist natürlich wie in den meisten Resorts gegeben und bietet mit naheliegenden kleinen Shops für kalte Drinks und Snacks eine relaxte Zeit.
At the end of the footbridge is a small BBQ grill area with adjacent river, the Sok River.
Here most of the time the small monkeys romp around and tease each other. From time to time they take a bath and if it is too strenuous for the resort owners, a small shot is fired to drive the little monkeys away. But they usually come back quickly and jump on the roofs of the bungalows :)
Am Ende des Stegs befindet sich ein kleiner BBQ-Grill Bereich mit anliegendem Fluß, der Sok Fluss.
Hier tummeln sich die meiste Zeit die kleinen Affen und ärgern sich gegenseitig. Ab und nehmen sie sich ein Bad und falls es den Resort-Besitzern zu anstrengend wird, wird auch mal ein kleiner Schreck-Schuss abgefeuert um die kleinen Racker zu vertreiben. Sie kommen meist aber schnell wieder und springen auf die Dächer der Bungalows :)

Ich hoffe euch hat mein kleiner Beitrag um Khao Sok Cabana Resort gefallen und konnte euch für euren nächsten Thailand-Trip etwas zeigen was sich wirklich lohnt zu besuchenn. Meine Erfahrungen in diesem Resort waren super - die Bungalows sind sauber und super eingerichtet.

Haha, ja ;) Aktuell sind wir nun ein paar Tage länger unterwegs auf Koh Lanta ;) Hier und da mal eine Tour buchen, abschalten und relaxen hin und wieder ;) Aber dieses Land ist nunmal sehr aufregend und spannend ;)
