Another part of the Dresden tour

Hello everyone!

I invite you to the next part of the report from my trip around the city of Dresden in eastern Germany. For the short time of the trip and the small area we visited, we managed to take a lot of photos. There was a lot to admire and photograph, so I recommend visiting this city.

Zapraszam do kolejnej części relacji z mojej wycieczki po mieście Drezno we wschodnich Niemczech. Jak na krótki czas wycieczki i mały obszar jaki zwiedziliśmy to udało się wykonać sporo zdjęć. Było co podziwiać i co fotografować, dlatego polecam odwiedzenie tego miasta.

The first three photos were taken from the Charles Bridge ("Carolabrücke") over the Elbe. We specifically made a quick walk to this place to take these few shots.

Trzy pierwsze zdjęcia zostały wykonane z mostu Karola ("Carolabrücke") nad Łabą. Specjalnie wykonaliśmy szybki spacer w to miejsce aby wykonać tych kilka ujęć.

Brühl's Terraces can be admired from the bridge. I presented the architecture of this promenade in the previous post.

Z mostu można podziwiać Tarasy Brühla. Architekturę tej promenady prezentowałem w poprzednim poście.

This is probably the best and most popular place to admire the panorama of the old town. The Frederic August Bridge is visible on the right.

Jest to chyba najlepsze i najbardziej popularne miejsce do podziwiania panoramy starego miasta. Z prawej strony widoczny jest most Fryderyka Augusta.

New Market ("Neumarkt"). We were looking for a restaurant to eat here. However, we couldn't decide on a restaurant or what we wanted to eat at all.

Nowy Rynek ("Neumarkt"). Tutaj szukaliśmy restauracji aby coś zjeść. Nie mogliśmy się jednak zdecydować ani na restaurację ani na to co w ogóle chcemy zjeść.

In the middle there is a statue of Martin Luther.

Na środku znajduje się pomnik Marcina Lutra.

On the right in the picture is the building of the Transport Museum.

The next few photos show how the way of traveling has changed over the years.

We can try to go back in time and try to imagine what life in this city used to be like.

Możemy spróbować cofnąć się w czasie i spróbować sobie wyobrazić jak kiedyś wyglądało życie w tym mieście.

One more look at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Above the entrance to the opera building there is a Quadriga with figures of Dionysus and Ariadne.

Nad wejściem do budynku opery znajduje się Kwadryga z postaciami Dionizosa i Ariadny.
