For @photogames week 8 @itchyfeetdonica asked us who has inspired our photographic journey.
I talked about how Ansel Adams inspired me in regards to landscape photography. As I was editing the Arches National Park pictures I made a small collection of black and white pictures of America West... like Adams.
I hope I like Ansel Adams can also inspire others to visit and care for these places and take care of our beautiful world.

Monochrome works great here. Very beautiful. And these rocks, which look like huge walls, are simply breathtaking!
Thanks so much. The walls were huge, it was really amazing how big they were are little we are!
They are still spectacular in B&W, Sara. Great work 😍
thanks @trangbaby
well, especially in Black and white !
Thanks!
my pleasure !
Nice to see more photos of this region. :) It's high on my bucket list!
Thanks. When you come let me know and I will see if I could meet you there! :) Wouldn't that be fun?!?!
Man, I love this! We are all used to the coloured images from the park but the B&W ones create a completely different mood! Good job!
Thanks so much @gabrielatravels
Stunning photos the black and white adds a more desolate feel
Thanks so much. Yes, more than some other places the black and white really change the feel of the place.
I saw an elephant.
Ha ha! Yay. I was so happy when I saw it too. A fun part of my trip for sure.
That's interesting. For me, I have a habit of imagining something when I see objects in nature such as mountains, hills, rocks, rivers, lakes, trees...
It was called the parade of elephants and there were multiple elephants marching toward the double arch. That is fun that you imagine things, makes life interesting!
