Amusement parks and great food before leaving Thailand

in Pinmapple2 years ago

Hello again everyone,

So as some of you have noticed in my recent posts, I was supposed to get a new camera for my travels. First, my bank was giving me a lot of trouble, and then when that got fixed the market decided to crash. So I will be waiting a bit longer before I get it.

Anyway, I decided to end my time in Thailand in kind of a weird way. I went to the amusement park with a friend and had a lot of good food before leaving. I hadn't been to an amusement park for probably 10 years and I thought it could be pretty cool.

The park is called Dream World and it is a pretty cool place. Even if you're not a child. I wasn't expecting too much but I had fun. Also, the rides are so much worse now that I'm getting older lol. I hated some of them so much. Do you like amusement parks?

They have this place with huge fruits and vegetables which looked pretty cool. They also have a bunch of animals in the park and even a small dog café where you can chill with some good bois.

Like these huge pigs roaming around the place. They are free to move around and are very nice. Kinda like really fat dogs.

There's also a nice little bird place where you can chill with beautiful birds and feed them some leaves. I kinda feel bad for them being locked in there and all but at least it's not a small cage which is something you see a lot here.

Finished the day with some awesome Korean BBQ. I've eaten so much good food since I came here and probably gained 10 kg since I arrived. It's gonna be sad to go home and not have all these food places around. After all that it was time to say goodbye to Thailand and all the nice people that I met here before finally leaving for Cambodia.

I didn't spend too long there though only stopped for a few days before going to Vietnam. I didn't take too many photos either because I mainly spent time in genocide-related places and you can't take photos there. Not that I would take them even if it was allowed.

Here are a few of the photos I did take though.

The independence monument is in the center of Phnom Penh. Sadly the Royal Palace was closed during my visit so I couldn't go there even though it would have been very near.

And of course, the Mekong Delta river that flows through the city. You'll see parts of this river in most of the region. It's a cool place and the city is pretty chill. You can tell it's way less developed than e.g. Bangkok but it's slowly getting there.

Next up I will be spending time in Hanoi, Vietnam. Have you been here? Let me know if you have any recommendations for this amazing city. See you in the next post, everyone.

Hanoi, Vietnam next? Damn, I just recently added Hanoi to my list of "travel worthy" places haha. You should get a lot pictures and videos for your posts about Vietnam then, try to keep us all updated. I really wanna see how Hanoi, and Vietnam looks and feels from a tourist's perspective.

And I think Vietnam is quite underrated in terms of tourism, especially when you compare it to the neighboring countries like Thailand, Indo, Malaysia, China even.

Yes bro haha Hanoi is really great. You should definitely visit there when you can. I will take a lot of photos here for sure. The next post will probably be all Hanoi. It is maybe a little bit but it's getting the recognition it deserves slowly. Sorry for the late reply man.

Ayy mann, hope you're having a great time.

And forget about the sorries and replies, you do you, and make sure it's one hell of a trip and experience haha. Cheers brother 🥃

Damn two countries in one post :D

amusement park looks like it was a lot of fun, what kind of rides did they have that you were getting too old for?:P

this one was the craziest lol. There was another ride also but I can't find it. Was still fun though.

what the fuck lmao, the title "deadly game"
I would have not gotten onto that even if @freedom personally was waiting to give me his stake

lmao missed this comment but yeah it was crazy haha

Looks like you really hard a great time

The pigs are so huge and look cute. Though they make a good meal 😬

Those pigs are so adorable (^_^)

Dreamworld is very close to my house, I visited it when I was a kid. 😅
Hope you have a good time there.😆

Oh that's cool. Yeah it would have been more fun as a kid for sure. Was still a good time though.

The pigs are so fat XDD

Haha yeah they're not tiny.

wow, I have only read amusement parks in stories :(

Are there no amusement parks near you? :(

we do but not as colourful as you shared :(

Absolutely love Korean BBQ!

And Thailand too! Enjoy your trip and share your photos with us.

I'm almost in the exact opposite side of the world from you: Costa Rica. I have chef friends, so with a little help, I might be able to find some Korean BBQ :)

Korean BBQ is awesome. Was my first time trying it and I loved it.

Thanks I will do that. Haha that's cool, enjoy your time over there.

The pig is so cute

I have heard all the good things about this place. Slowly increasing my bucket list to travel to these places! Amusement parks look great as well. How much did you enjoy the locals tho? Are they inviting?

The locals are great. Super friendly people and everyone just seems really kind. They are definitely inviting now since they have been surviving without tourists for so long :(

What a cute piggies. It makes me smile, thank you for sharing @strawhat.
