This memorial sign was installed on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island not so long ago, in 2003. It looks nice and always attracts the attention of tourists. The complex of buildings of the Spit of Vasilevsky Island ensemble is depicted on the bronze bas-relief. This is one of the most beautiful places in our city.
An old postcard
The building of the Stock Exchange and the Rostral Columns are in the center of attention on this bas-relief. The Exchange building is being repaired now, it is covered with construction mesh on the façade side, so I approached from the opposite side to take a picture. The Rostral Column is pictured in the last photo. The sculptures symbolize the great Russian rivers.
