The Quintessence of Regional cuisine converges in the City along the Han River

Vietnamese cuisine not only promotes long-standing traditional beauty. Outstanding features of Vietnamese cuisine are also reflected in different regions. If the cuisine of the North, there will be typical dishes such as Hanoi Pho, Hanoi Bun Thang, Hanoi Bun Cha, Ha Tay Shrimp Cake, Bun Oc... Central cuisine will often be processed spicier and less sweet than the south. Especially in the central region, there is the ancient capital of Hue, which is known as royal cuisine. In the past, Hue city was the place where the last kings and emperors of Vietnam were located. The cuisine here is considered one of the quintessential culinary places of Vietnam. The typical dishes of the people of central Vietnam are Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo, Banh Xeo, Banh Dap, Banh Trang Thit Heo. The spice of the dishes of the central people, not to mention fish sauce. This is one of the indispensable spices in every dish of the Central people. The central land is one of the barren lands, this place is always affected by natural disasters. It is these influences that the people here. Always appreciate and transform the products that you have. To process dishes with very own flavors, that anyone who enjoys will never forget. The cuisine of the south of Vietnam is home to many common features of Vietnam, the dishes of the southern people will often have a sweeter taste. The dishes will be influenced by Chinese dishes, also influenced by countries like Cambodia, Thailand. Southerners will normally use coconut milk and the taste of the dishes will have a fatty taste in each dish. The typical dishes of the southern people must be mentioned are noodle soup, chicken porridge, roti chicken, and sticky rice...

In today's post, I went to a restaurant in Da Nang. There are many popular Vietnamese dishes here. The owner of this restaurant is a northerner, so there are many popular dishes of Hanoians. This restaurant is called Co Ba Pho Bo, below are the words in English. This place is visited by many international tourists. This restaurant is located at 154 Bach Dang, Hai Chau 2 ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang city. The location of the restaurant, located in a very beautiful location inside the city. The front of the restaurant is located opposite the famous Han Riverbank of Da Nang city. It will be great to sit and enjoy the food, watching the city through the window. The opening time of the restaurant is 10 am and the closing time is 23:30. After entering the cafe, there is a coffee display cabinet. On this display shelf, there are many coffee products of Vietnam. Each row on the shelf will be a different type of coffee, usually instant coffee. These brands of coffee I have never drunk, so they look very strange. Vietnam has a famous coffee that is G7 instant coffee of Trung Nguyen, this is one of the coffees with the bold flavor of the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands. You will be sober and refreshed when drinking this brand of coffee.

The first floor of Co Ba restaurant is a row of seats, I went quite early, so the restaurant is quite small at this time. Partly due to the time of the epidemic, Da Nang city has very few visitors, so the restaurant is very empty. There is two staff at the cashier counter smiling to greet me, next to it are the stairs going to the 2nd floor. I will not sit in the area below the 1st floor but will choose to go to the 2nd floor of the restaurant. From the second floor, I will have an ideal seat, to watch the poetic Han River. When entering the 2nd floor, the restaurant is decorated with bamboo trees, creating a green space for the restaurant. The decorative lights are also very beautiful. There are white sheets of paper on every table, which I guess will help me get rid of the things I don't want to eat. The first page of the restaurant's menu is the Wifi pass, I ordered Pho beef with the price of 89,000 VND for 1 piece and 1 piece of Hanoi vermicelli for 109,000 VND. I went with a friend, so I ordered two pho dishes, the total bill for lunch today is about 287,000 VND, equivalent to nearly 10 dollars. After waiting for the food to be brought up, I went to the restroom to wash my hands before eating, the toilet is also very clean.

After the food is brought to the table, I will have 2 bowls of Pho Bo and 1 plate of Bun Cha Hanoi. In a bowl of Pho, the indispensable thing is green onions, there is a plate of raw vegetables next to it and chili and lemon spices for the bowl of Pho. These vegetables will make your bowl of Pho Bo more delicious and not boring when eating. The beef noodle soup here is delicious, the water of Pho is very fragrant and sweet with the taste of beef. Vietnamese Pho is one of the traditional dishes of Vietnam, which is preferred by international tourists when traveling to Vietnam. This is one of the best pho restaurants in Da Nang. The price is a bit high compared to many places, but it is worth the money for today's meal.

The second dish, on the table today is Bun Cha Hanoi. This is one of the famous dishes of Hanoi. This dish will have vermicelli and pork rolls, Cha meat will be grilled on a charcoal fire. After the meat is cooked, it will be put in a bowl of salty and sour fish sauce. You can put vermicelli in a bowl of fish sauce and mix it with pork rolls, but I want to eat it slowly so that I can enjoy them more deliciously. I took vermicelli with fish sauce and put a slice of meat on the spoon. The delicious taste of meat rolls will make you unforgettable. Each Vietnamese dish is indispensable for raw vegetables, vegetables will have a lot of fiber and it will help us have many vitamins. Bun Cha has also been very popular in recent years. In 2016, in the last days of his term, US President Barack Obama visited Vietnam in May. During that visit, he went to a restaurant. Bun Cha Hanoi and enjoy this dish with talented chef Anthony Bourdain, the two of them ate on popular plastic chairs and ate with other ordinary guests in the restaurant. It is these bizarre images that have been posted on the web, which have made this dish more famous than ever.

After eating, I and my friends went outside to the Han River, the weather is beautiful today. The clear blue sky and bridges on the Han River, are always a favorite place of all tourists. The trees provide shade, and the stone statues are artistically sculpted. Making this place very peaceful and relaxing, every time you walk by this Han River. Standing from here, I can easily see the Han River Bridge and Da Nang Dragon Bridge. Han river bridge with spans connected in the middle of the river. The unique feature of this bridge is that the shaft can be rotated in the middle, allowing ships to enter and exit the city. If you want to see the Han River Bridge rotate, you can come here every Saturday and Sunday at 11 pm, the bridge will be filmed for visitors to visit. Behind the bridge are the Son Tra mountains, which is the highlight that makes this bridge more beautiful. On the right-hand side of the river is the dragon bridge, the dragon on the bridge is placed in the middle of the bridge, painted in yellow color. Every Saturday, Sunday at 9 pm. Dragon Bridge will present fire and water spray. These two performances will take place within 15 minutes, each time the dragon spits fire, the tourists always turn around the area in front of the dragon's mouth to watch this performance. The Dragon Bridge is now considered one of the highlights of the city's tourism and also attracts a lot of domestic and foreign tourists.

Today is my day off, so I spent this time with my friend enjoying the day. The second place that I would like to introduce today is a coffee shop located in the center of Da Nang city. I like this coffee shop because the space of this shop is decorated in a tropical style, I feel very relaxed when I sit here to enjoy a glass of water.

This coffee shop is called Rain Forest, located on two fronts of Yen Bai and Le Hong Phong streets. The address of the shop is 142 Yen Bai, Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang city. From the outside, the cafe is decorated very impressively, with roofs covered with dry leaves, looking very much like bird's nests. Inside the shop will have 3 floors, each floor will have its characteristics. The plus point when stepping inside the restaurant is that a lot of trees are planted here, creating a comfortable space for customers to enjoy.

The first floor will be the water calling area and the seats are decorated like houses, the seats are hung with steel ropes. Like a swing, it will be difficult to sit when you first sit. After ordering my drink, I asked permission to photograph the architecture of the cafe.

Next to the cashier counter is a staircase leading to the second-floor area. The second-floor area, seating will be decorated in the style of bird cages. There are bird cages that will seat two people and there are also large bird cages, enough for a group of friends to drink coffee and discuss in groups, in a study session. Around this coffee shop is planted a lot of trees, I like the space inside the cafe. If you come here once, you will surely love it because of this green space. The second floor also has a sliding staircase, if you don't want to take the stairs, you can use this slide to go down to the first floor.

Continue to go up to the third floor, this is the last floor of this cafe. The third floor is the hottest floor of this coffee shop, but in the morning it will be shaded by tarps, with open space like this, that's too important. The 3rd floor is the quietest area, it will be very suitable when you want to sit and work here. Standing from the 3rd floor, looking down below the coffee shop, you can feel the green space of the cafe. On the 3rd floor, there is also an iron staircase, leading to the highest point of this coffee shop. When going up the stairs, there will be a balcony to enjoy the view, I can observe the surrounding area here, below the stairs are small potted plants planted very beautifully. After visiting all the space of the bar, I went downstairs to the first floor to enjoy my glass of water. The glass of water that I chose today is a glass of fruit yogurt. With a combination of slices of strawberry, mango, and apple. The price of this glass of water is 45,000 VND (equivalent to 2 US dollars). The price is also very affordable, for a space like this. I have not enjoyed coffee here, but I see a friend accompanying me, evaluating the coffee here is very very delicious, worth enjoying. I will enjoy coffee here in the future. This coffee shop is also the last place I went to today. You see the places that I introduce today, are you impressed with any places?
