Sansiri Backyard Community: An Urban Experience

Bangkok has a plethora of parks and outdoor green spaces, but few have versatility of Sansiri Community Backyard.

Sansiri Community Backyard is a mixed used community park in central Bangkok. It's surrounded by upscale condos and townhomes. There's even a beautiful and prestigious international school nearby.

The park featured a full length walking and cycling track that's surrounded by banana trees and flower beds. There were also ponds to feed ducks, fish, and pigeons. You can never escape the pigeons in Bangkok.

Other activies include egg huntingand pick your own farming. I hate to eat eggs, but I think I'll come back and grab a few for my wife.

The park also let's visitors pick melons, tomatoes, and kale from the community garden.

After you had your fun for the day you could wind down with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee at this quaint cafe. My wife and I have been here before for an evening glass of wine.

The next time I go to the park I'll have to take my bike and ride around this beautiful track.

If you're ever in Bangkok and you need to blow some time on an afternoon I highly recommend visiting Sansiri Community Backyard.
