Happy Birthday Little Bloke, Never Stop Smiling!

in Motherhood2 years ago

There's very few things in life that bring such joy and one of those things is watching your child's excitement on their birthdays.

I've found for little bloke this experience is vastly different to little miss's as she used to get scared when people started singing happy Birthday. Little Bloke was the complete opposite and the singing encouraged him to get more excited.

Just like a little celebrity putting on a show he was happy to take all the lime light and glory. Second birthdays are rather special ones as first birthdays kids don't tend to know what's happening.

They've only just started waking up and being more concious and first birthdays are more a celebration for parents having survived the first year of child raising.

Of course little miss was also front and centre and by her age she is well aware of what birthdays are and has a whole range of expectations and wants.

But at two, kids are happy with cake, family and a few friends over to celebrate and of course birthday presents.

For me the best experience is watching little bloke unpack his presents and although things are starting to get a little harder due to inflation we were still able to put a great birthday party together for him.

His also old enough now to get his own presents as the past two years little bloke has just played with little misses toys as they both enjoy cars and trucks.

He's developed a liking for dinosaurs and trucks so his birthday was a Dinosaur themed party and for his gift we got him a truck set that opens up into an entire race track.

We spent some quality time putting the toy together and building it up. I have to admit moments like this make me feel like a big kid again also.

Once we put it all together it was time to hit the tracks! With a little help from big sister of course!

Life is an amazing thing and I often wonder what sort of experiences I am providing for my kids. As all parents I only hope that I can do the best I can and give them the best start to life.

Having a different experience myself growing up I often don't have things to compare with. My thoughts often go to what my kids will be feeling as I didn't have a dad growing up so I don't know what it is like.

But I know moments like this will remain with little bloke and little miss their whole lives.

I would like to wish little bloke a very happy second Birthday and many more to come!.

What do you think the best kids birthdays are? As they get older it gets harder and while they are young they enjoy the celebrations without much want other than a cake.

Little Miss on the other hand now puts in requests years in advance. She's already starting to ask for a car!

Oh my am I in for it in the future!

Yes, I love watching their little faces on Christmas morning or on their birthdays - it's what it's all about. As for inflation, yep, that bad boy is coming for all of us, I just hope it doesn't hang around too long!

It's the best feeling. Better than getting presents yourself!

Happy birthday to your son, what a beautiful moment you have been able to give him, it is seen that he is very loved by his parents.

That truck I was about to buy it from my son, but I decided on another, now that I see it armed it looks incredible, I think I will look for it for Christmas

Thank you very much for sharing such a beautiful moment, keep enjoying your family, good day.

Thank you it is a very special moment. I love the young age they get so happy over so many things. The truck was a great present and I would highly recommend.

Happy birthday Little bloke.🎉
