Fungi Friday: The Thin Walled Maze Polypore (Daedaleopsis confragosa)

in Fungi Lovers3 years ago (edited)

Before entering the daylight, while waiting for my son to leave his classroom at school, I leaned my back against the wall of the fence covered with moss.

Just a moment after I took out my smartphone from pants pocket, suddenly my eyes caught something from behind the gaps in the fence wall. Yup, I saw some mushrooms growing. The mushrooms had dried up and wrinkled.

The bottom cap of the hat is rough, looks like the coral reef, while the top cap of the hat is like an oyster shell.

This looks like the thin walled maze polypore or Daedaleopsis confragosa, a species of polypore fungus in the Polyporaceae family.

Well, these pictures of my mushrooms are my entry for #fungifriday hosted by @ewkaw.

Jamur ini cantik dan sangat bagus sekali bg...

I liked the porous structure of the mushroom
that one, which looks like a coral reef😍
P.s: very high quality editing

@bugavi Thanks. About high quality editing, I don't think so. I just rely on a simple editing process using the Adobe Lightroom application which I download for free on my phone :D
