Mushroom Monday - Today's mushroom finds

in Fungi Lovers3 years ago

Hello friends.

Today I went for a walk in search of birds. Since I was passing by and through the forest, and the places where I had noticed mushrooms before, I couldn't help but check if there were any and in what condition.
I found the usual mushrooms for this time of year.

Oyster mushrooms - I mostly find them on poplar stumps or a willow trunk.

Enokitake (Flammulina velutipes) - I usually find them in association with the oyster mushrooms but today I found them also on a different kind of tree - the Siberian elm with Auricularia auricula-judae.

Auricularia auricula-judae

I found these on the same Siberian elm tree as Enokitake. It seems that they are also quite widespread in this area. I came across a few distant places with these mushrooms.

And as a bonus perennial on a plum tree.

You have good weather and mushroom season. Where do you live?
Great shots !

Thanks! I live in Serbia. The winter isn't always mild like this year.

In Russia, in winter, mushrooms can only be found on trees. I mean the breadth of St. Petersburg.

Only in Russia. 😁

That's perfectly normal because of the weather.
