The best thing about Yuyu Hakusho is undoubtedly its fights, good action, it is one of those anime in which there are arcs or sagas of fighting tournaments, so the fights are quite entertaining. The characters are the classic shonen characters: the heroic protagonist, the crazy and funny, a sensitive with a great hidden power and a serious guy who ends up being very powerful, in general it is not a complex story at all, on the contrary, I think it is one of the simplest on this list, perhaps that is why it is at number 10, but that does not take away the merit of having a good dose of action, comedy and even has elements of Japanese culture that manage to enrich the story a little, plus it has one of my favorite openings of all those on this list. In the visual aspect it has a classic 80s-90s animation that I find quite attractive, although that may be because it generates some nostalgia in me.

As a mother I learned to love animated movies, when our children are young there is no choice but to watch the movies they like and can see. My children are growing up and we still continue to watch this type of movies, so much so that this weekend we went to the movies and since there was not so much variety of options according to the family in general, we had to watch an animated movie. Most of the movies being shown were for an adult audience and the options we could choose from were Thor: Love and Thunder but we had already seen it at home, Spider-Man: No Way Home which by the way is being repeated on HBO channels this month almost every 4 hours, Avatar from 2009 which returned to theaters since Avatar 2 will be released in December of this year, Minions: A Villain is Born and DC League of Superpets. As you can imagine we are leaning towards the last option.

I cannot fail to mention a tremendously humble characteristic that Carl Sagan had and that permeated his series. And it is none other than: true humility. The fact that he placed humanity as just one organism among the gigantic variety of species on Earth is groundbreaking in itself. Any King, Ruler, President or Tyrant who has lived on the face of the planet has died or at some point will be dead, yet the Planet will survive and we will all be a part of the past; no matter how great or simple we may have been in life. Whatever longing, anguish, pain, pleasure, anecdote or sadness, it is not for significance on a universal scale. We tend to think we are on the cusp of evolution, and perhaps we are, but this planet is just a speck of dust in a vast, unforgiving universe.

The film is terrible but it is entertaining, quite entertaining and they are two different things. Undoubtedly the best film of the saga is the first one, where it was doing well, but then it went downhill, it's a shame, but that's the reality. I had high expectations for this chapter, because the final scenes of the past hinted at the appearance of Daredevil in the series and in the UCM, beyond the appearance of Matt Murdock in the Spiderman No Way Home movie, but we will still have to wait a few weeks. more to see this hero on screen. This was one of the main things that discouraged me from doing my typical review of the episode, but I finally decided to do it, and although this is not the best of the series, there are some things that make it at least interesting.
