Dragon Ball Z: The mightiest warriors (1992) Review (Eng - Esp)

We continue with the films of the Dragon Ball franchise that had a significant impact on me somehow and clearly in my opinion I would recommend, the last time I had the opportunity to talk about a movie in which we are introduced to a familiar character, with one of the most recommended villains par excellence in this franchise, in effect I mean Freezer and in this case his older brother Cooler, which was defeated abysmally in the previous film which I reviewed, you would think that the situation would end like that. But not in this installment Cooler returns after his apparent defeat and death but very different, more improved and above all with more control of certain elements, in this film you can enjoy a good choreography in terms of combat something that is representative of this franchise, which will always be the fights, as well as a denouement and a satisfactory ending that will put an end and closure to the villain on duty, but I'll talk in more detail about this later.

It should be clarified that with the development and delivery of this review, missing a total of 3 films more specific to be able to finish once and for all this set of analysis, I must also clarify that the events in this film and the previous ones are not considered canonical, if not alternative variations in other worlds so to speak, this film has a good level of entertainment at the level of battles and environment, so without further ado this time I bring you Dragon Ball Z:The mightiest warriors.

As I mentioned before, this movie is a continuation, after the events that occurred previously in the fight of Goku against Cooler, in which apparently it was believed that Cooler was defeated and apparently it was a serious mistake to believe that, and in this movie this point is demonstrated to a great extent. Cooler's character evolves in a great way, not only presenting himself as a terrible adversary but also as terrible adversaries, since by certain circumstances presented in the film we can see many metallic and improved versions of him, in relation to its design in this film I really don't like it very much at an aesthetic level, I mean I understand that he suffered a very significant adaptation due to his previous state as a result of his last encounter against Goku, but I expected a dynamism in colors before his mechanical aspects and not something so simple, and I still greatly prefer his last transformation, however in this section this is countered with a great choreography in battles, now let's break down part by part this film to give a more complete opinion.

Let's start with the animation section, in this section as I have mentioned in other installments and I'm sorry if I sound so repetitive with all this, but I feel that it is a point which certainly has improved in several details as the film was made in the era of 2000, however despite the fact that this particular film is more distant in time but certainly not much, I can say that in this aspect is quite good in my opinion, It stands out a lot in the fights something classic and typical in this type of franchise, giving a good emphasis and detail to some poses or postures and transition of transformations such as the transition of Goku's Kaio Ken and from there to his super saiyajin stage, besides that the visual elements linked to Cooler and its form that certainly are not so much to my liking, are good to see in the fights especially when it is rebuilt after significant damage, in this section I have no complaints, it has an acceptable fluidity, good coloring and design.

Now in relation to the plot, because in the personal meets the guidelines that are presented in many of these films, showing us a plot that to my taste was entertaining, if we can get to say so in the fighting, transformations and dialogues in the same as well as the progressive outcome of the main plot, In that aspect for me it is fine, although in this installment also presents a subplot in which it is focused on funny or hilarious moments with humor of that time, I have already given my opinion a few times about this and although it doesn't bother me, it certainly starts to bore me a little when it is abused a lot, in this case I feel that more effort should have been put into the design and participation of the other robots that were invading the planet Namek, I think that part was wasted a little, as for the rest is fine if we look at it from a point of view in combats and a satisfactory ending.

As for the environment I can say that I felt a little nostalgic because the place where most of these events take place is the planet Namek, and curiously have to defend it from a modified Freezer's family and an army of robotic versions of him, as well as others with a more simplistic and boring design, quite interesting in that aspect, plus the detail of that satellite or mechanical star that wants to take over the planet and where Cooler is located is visually stunning and certainly nostalgic in my opinion.

And with this ends this review today, and in total 3 more movies would be missing to complete this set of plots with this franchise, I will be sure to upload them often to complete all this quickly over the course of this week, taking perhaps an intermediate day or two, not to oversaturate this community with this content because what I least want is to bother others, so as always thank you very much for reading and get here and I hope it has been pleasant reading for you, without more to say until the next review.

You have only 3 movies left to finish this extensive analysis, you are a true Dragon Ball Z fan.

Hahahaha if it is very close, the truth is that if it was pretty funny, maybe continue with this format but with other series, we'll see it could be fun the question is to see what anime or series would be.

this is the cartoon i like. we are always waiting for this cartoon.

It is a great classic shonen that even to this day is still active but in another saga, it is inevitable that you do not touch a little nostalgia with these movies, greetings.
