300

At 2000 sats, 1300 sats, and 1000 sats, I said there was no way I was buying any more HIVE. Lies, and more lies, I want to be part of the 300 club, do you?

HIVE has been floating around 10 to 13 cents for almost 3 months now, but has taken a beating again Bitcoin. I'm not keen on putting any more fiat in at present, but at some point there could be value in moving out of BTC, ETH, LTC, to some alts.

My trades have been pretty shite so far this year and so I'm not even going to bother with the 'this is not financial advi...' line, but Hive is alive, and hanging in there. Splinterlands is up over 6 million market cap, and I believe LEO is over 3 million at present and rising rapidly. These projects, and the development efforts by BT, the wizard, and team make me think Hive isn't going anywhere, and has more stuff happening than most tokens and chains can offer.

The Institutional investment money arrived, and no surprise that it went in hard on the big players. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if dude hired on 250k a year plus bonuses to pick tokens for a fund just ordered the front page of coinmarketcap by marketcap (excluding Ripple, oops) and picked those. Well done dude, well done. The small issue I see is that that investment will be quite static and lazy, and not so keen to hunt out smaller projects actually providing value / doing something at all.

However, because all you lot and those savvy early adopters bought in on way before the big money arrived, there should be plenty of froth to take off and throw at some diamonds in the rough, on page 6 or something. Is Hive one of these? I don't know but I hope so.

Last one, at 300 satoshi a pop, pinky promise :P

There are always going to be "value investors" out there... and they precisely look for small projects where a relatively modest buy-in can give them a lot of bang for their bucks.

I did have a great feeling about Splinterlands (or "SteemMonsters" as it was in the beginning) when it was announced and get started... I saw the potential for a blockchain and crypto-based version of Magic: The Gathering (MTG) which has been around since 1993 and has about 35 million players worldwide, along with 20,000+ different cards by now, some of which trade for *$1000's," with artist signed rare cards regularly selling for upwards of $25,000 on eBay and other marketplaces. Of course, they've been at it for 28 years!

The beauty of Splinterlands (as far as helping Hive) is the completely seamless connection between fiat, crypto, blockchain and the external world. They are doing precisely what is needed in a strong use case: All the "technical crap" of blockchain/crypto is pushed into the background, and the focus is the game itself.

LeoFinance is a great asset, too... because they have built a unique identity that stands alone, and yet is part of the Hive Ecosystem.

All we need are another 5-6 projects like that, and Hive will be much more noticeable.

Of course, it also places Hive squarely in the arena of "utility coin" and those are just not as "sexy" to fickle "lottery investors" as hare-brained schemes with wild promises and no substance, and lots of rumors to make them go 10x in a week only to crash back down to where they were before.

Sure, we can look longingly, but in the long term, is that really what Hive NEEDS?

=^..^=

Yes, but are these people in charge of accounts with 100's of millions to splash? Hive's MCAP wouldn't dent the bankroll of most institutions.

Agreed. The sort of thing that doesn't happen overnight. That's for the long term, we can get some action prior to that too I think - I'll find some people to bring the sexy? :)

I see more value in buying altcoins than buying Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is just to store value.
Altcoin are the real deal

You can store value and then slice some off at 500%, that's nice isn't it?

Of course, there's always a change of an Alt going 5000% from lows, is it this HIVE one? :)

The alt season will be upon us one of these days! At least Eth and Litecoin and some others seem to be making some gains alongside Bitcoin. Last bull run if I remember the alts took a while to get going.

Top 3 by mcap aren't they? Easy choices for the fund manager!

STEEM went up and down within a week or two, after BTC had topped out I think. Word on the street is that BTC has more to go this year, so maybe HIVE will have a late summer charge?

i will keep on staking!!

Another stubborn Hiver, nice!

Well BTC sometimes murders the altcoins but refuses to take them up with it. We will have a full alt coin dominance once BTC stops controlling the other coins

Hello dear friend @ abh12345 good afternoon
That is a good play, you are doing very well at power up; This year will be a year of many revelations for our company, many will regret not having trusted and invested. I do not have the ability to save money, but I bet all my time here to interact with people and upload my publications, I know it will not be wasted time
I take this opportunity to wish you a splendid weekend that you enjoy very much

Hi jlufer, have an awesome weekend too!

Are we with the right 'company'? :D

@abh12345, Let's hope that Hive will climb the Bullish Tree very soon. Stay blessed.

Chased up the bullish tree 🌳

Hodl Hodl Hodl

For now, yes!

I grabbed a bit too. Not much. Who the he'll sells at 300 sats? :D

You have quite a lot but the average is lowered, again 😆.

Sellers must be going our to fiat?

I've no understanding of crypto, and am a dreadful investor. However, I love to be on Hive and I think that's good for the platform. People who enjoy being here are a kind of glue.

On an unrelated note, I actually knew someone who had a bit part in Meet the Spartans, a spoof of The 300.
🎬
:)

Take 2, and action 🙂

People that love to be here and to interact, that's all we need really to keep the devs and community going - a little bump in price will happen sometime.

🌠
Hive price, taking off 🌞

Hive is still low but it is a big opportunity for newbie. It's just like a staircase, the lower stairs makes it easier for people to climb to the top.

Hive has made people like me opportune to join the crypto world.

I'll keep pushing myself forward till I find my way to the top, and by the time am buoyant on hive, I can enter into other crypto while engaging in hive as before.

Good luck to you, I hope 300 satoshi was good timing.

I haven't been optimistic lately about Hive, but your words are a bit comforting as you are in the "know" more than me. I leave my HIVE right where it is for now because I've worked so hard for it and it's worth almost nothing at the moment.

I think it was 6+ months ago that my HIVE account value reached an all-time high, and since then I've been blogging nonstop just to counteract deflation and devaluation. I do hope for better days ahead.

I really have no clue where this or any token can go. I've seen a full BTC cycle though and just hoping HIVE gets involved like STEEM did, late on.

Are you on discord?

I am, same ID.

Hum, cannot seem to find you.

oh good :D
