About a week ago I installed the #movetoearn app, Stepn, on my phone, and I was really planning on using it every day.
It is shilled by quite a few on the internet as being one of the best in its niche, thus I thought I should try it. I got myself an activation code from @trangbaby, because I could simply not manage to get it on my own(another app flaw) and soon after I was over with the registration process I thought I should put it to the test.
Little did I know that in order to be able to use it, you have to buy yourself some virtual sneakers that look like some kindergarten drawings, and then you're ready to go. Not even today, one week after I got the app, I got myself any virtual sneakers. Why?
The cheapest pair costs about 17 BNB. That's $5600 at the current prices. If BNB was about $5 or something I would probably try the app and thus buy some virtual sneakers, but in this case, no thanks.
We have @actifit here on Hive and I am using this one for a while. I don't post my reports too often, but I am using it every day and you know what's so great about it? It's damn free to use. You don't need no sneakers, no nothing.
Just get out and move while earning some crypto on the way. And this is probably the most understated aspect of Hive, that it is free to use. You probably need a couple of HIVE to get you the RCs that make it possible to be active on the blockchain, but 10 HIVE is $5. So, it's basically free to use.
This is the best thing about Hive. You literally start from scratch, as I did, and at some point, you can literally make a living out of it. IT'S FREE. Had to say it again. No other crypto project that I am aware of is free to use.
Even these damn #movetoearn apps require you to buy virtual sneakers that cost more than my car, before they allow you to earn anything by using them...

$5K for a virtual sneaker all crappy? hahaha it's amazing how the industry comes up with stuff like that, it's like the broken balenciaga sneakers.
And by the way, I've seen that the app has a bad reputation in the play store, but why would that be? because I'm interested in downloading it.

Well to be fair my favorite thing about Hive is Leo, but that doesn't say enough.
It's the idea that some can participate by playing Splinterlands, dcity, or the Rock Star game, .. Others might simply love to write and enjoy engaging.
I love that there is Leo and due to that an expanding economy on BSC.
There are people here who don't post and just comment, and many also have taking activity off chain to MSP Radio.
We have a social economic community that is changing lives in all different ways.
That's what I love about Hive.

Cheap and easy to start earning. Even if @actifit wasn't free, would probably be able to use one Hive token to fund the payment. That's what's dope about it. It literally pays for itself and you start earning without spending a dime.

Actifit looks like a good app. Lots of users are posting here. The sneakers required for Stepn were about $1800. Now it's up in price so much. I still to get a fitness watch. There's is so much choice, when I get one can try actifit !

For Android. For iOS you can use 100s of devices that can sync with Apple health app. Or you can use mobile application directly for both iOS and Android.

The best thing about HIVE is that it has a vibrant and active community. If you are building a project or a brand or even an NFT game you can leverage the power of the community, because if someone sees the passion in your project they will help you.
Also it is fucking free! It is free to use and free to create and the only thing you have to invest is your time.
I started my account from 0 I did not know anything about HIVE at all. Now I am creating tutorials for others on how to use hive to your advantage.

How crazy, an application that forces you to buy virtual shoes, and at that price.
Hive is very undervalued in all its possibilities out there. And also, as you say, it is free to use. Because even those initial 5 Hives to have RC at the beginning, likely, you don't even have to invest them since there is always someone willing to help you to start and make you a small delegation. At least that was my case and I know a lot of people that have started from zero.
But answering your question, aside from the possibility of earning cryptocurrencies and learning about so many things, the possibility that Hive gives us to make lots of valuable relations with people around the world is priceless.
