Hive is proving that it is quite resiliant 💪📈
As of writing this post and creating this video, HIVE is currently valued at around $0.57 cents. I have no clue what the price will be once this goes live later this evening. We are still far off from our ATH, but that doesn't mean I'm not still hyped about this moment. BTC and most other cryptos have been down in the dumps for the past few weeks and it continues for most of the market. HIVE somehow has managed to spring forward and have itself a nice little run these past few days.
I woke up this morning to see gains in the range of +50% and I knew I had to get some sell orders ready to take advantage of this pump. I use Hive's internal market for my swaps between HIVE/HBD. There isn't much like the excitement of watching your favorite crypto skyrocket in value, especially while everything else is stagnant. We are approaching the Top 100 market caps ever so slowly, it could happen at any time. Once we are in the Top 100, I wouldn't be surprised to see us in the Top 50 and perhaps Top 25 or better later down the road. If you can't already tell, I am overwhelmingly positive about the future of Hive. I wouldn't have invested nearly 5 years of my life here unless I really had faith in the community to succeed.
I just couldn't contain myself this morning and I totally had to put out a video talking about the crazy energy that accompanies these types of pumps. I'm sure there will be many people talking about this, but I hope you will choose my video as the one to watch. I've included a lot of images in this one that shows various stats and comparisons between past and present.
I also mentioned a few other things in the video and I wanted to make sure to link them all down here at the end of this writing.

I looked into snagging up some HBD with the recent pump and may do some today but it was great to see the pump! Makes people get a little more attention to hive.
What’s funny is the people who left will see the pride action and come crawling back to try and siphon off what they can. Band wagoners! Lol

Hard to predict when is the best time to do what. I just know it feels so damn good to swap some HIVE for HBD and then be able to buy back into HIVE at a cheaper price. It can be an easy way to multiply your holdings.
I always notice a massive drop-off of people when the price isn't popping off. Of course, people decide to show back up and try to claim some rewards. People like us who never stop are really the ones who stay winning.

I’d have to be getting payed out the ass to rip one of my own shirts on purpose. It could have happened accidentally with this one though, it’s so small on me now. It’s my only Hive shirt besides my Weed Cash one with a tiny Hive logo on the back.
You gotta do what works best for you. My main goal is to still have a ton of Hive years down the road.
😂 yea.. that's funny cuz I remember my first steemit shirt.. it was a large, but I was living in philippines and the sized there are NOT american (fat) sizes, so I could barely fit into it. (I was only about 190lbs that time) I only wore it during the meetup and then once later for a post I did. never had a hive shirt yet..

It can be frustrating to use sometimes, but when it works it's a cool app and curation on there is pretty strong. I look forward to seeing a lot of improvements and eventually a mobile app.
The mobile application would be great ... I really hope the developers take it into consideration

In any case, my friend @daltono your words are enthusiastic, especially for those of us who depend on Hive to buy medicine and food. My son woke up telling me that the Hive was a little over 50% of the dollar in Venezuela and I got very excited, that's why I'm still waiting, and our currency will grow. Although we are still far from our ATH, a price close to $0.60 cents per #Hive seems great to me, seeing how it rises is a unique sensation. Entering the top 100 Cryptocurrencies will give us the opportunity to continue growing in market capitalization, the best option is to invest our time here. My words of support for the friend whose house burned must be sad news, but with the help of the #Hive family, he will surely be able to get ahead.
Although we are far off from the ATH, our positioning when it comes to market cap dominance is looking very good. If we keep this up, it will be impossible for anybody in crypto to ignore Hive.
I’m sure he and his family are still devastated about it, but people on Hive have been assisting big time and I know he is the type of person to persevere.

Yep I get the principal of the trading and I did manage to pull it off a couple of times, but doubted my ability (luck?) to be able to do so consistently. I'm assuming you succeed a lot more than you don't right??
There's a lot of luck for sure, no denying that. Some would call it a gamble, just depends where you stand in life. I'd say I'm successful more often than not, but I've definitely made some bad decisions that's for sure.
I guess as long as it's at least slightly better than a total gamble then it's worth doing right :)
When I want to change HBD to Hive, what's better: to use convert option or go to trade market?
Daltono is certainly better than me, but I also recommend the MARKET
If HBD is currently valued under $1, conversions are the best option. Most times though, I find the market to be the best way to swap. It is quicker and here lately HBD has been at or above $1 so there is no point in doing a conversion.
I hope #hive gains more value and reaches very high values. I want this not just to make money but because I want the platform to be in a better position. Actually, I still don't even know how to withdraw money from here. I'm just having fun, chatting with people I like. I hope Hive becomes $1 😂.
It's only a matter of time. I feel as though it's inevitable, although nothing is promised. Money is great, but to see a platform like this in action really is the genuine part of it all. I feel like being social online again and I used to avoid this type of stuff before Hive.
If you ever need help figuring out how to withdraw some during an emergency or something, let me know bro. I know it's different in every country, but I'd be down to help you figure it out if need be.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Hive price came to $0.70. It's a rapid rise, and it proves that Hive is an exceptionally resilient project independent.
It seems like a more steady rise than some of these other pumps. Let's hope it continues and a new trend of positive moments develops.
