Most of you don't know about it and that's why you are here looking at this post. I am a huge fan of @Splinterlands & the upcoming game @PsyberX. Hive gaming ecosystem is growing quickly and that's a great thing. Mordon Intelligence, a global research firm, predicted that online gaming would be a $314 billion market by 2027 with a growth rate of 9.7% between 2022 & 2027. Blockchain & P2E gaming will take over the world by 2027 and I can imagine them making online gaming a trillion-dollar market. Who knows! 🙈 There is so much potential for Hive to take a major chunk of this market and we need hundreds of games replicating the success of Splinterlands in the upcoming years.
I was spending some time on Twitter and it really helps me to get the latest updates from the Hive Dapps.
Introducing Crossworlds
It is an upcoming blockchain-based RPG MMO game powered by Hive. The website is well designed and has some cool info you need to judge, before the release of the game.
There are three different roleplays:
- Mining
- Crafting
- Fighting
You can choose any one of them or a combination of two or all three. It's totally up to you! Obviously, there will be NFTs that represent in-game assets. They will be transferable and tradable in the marketplace. As per the introductory post, their major focus will be on storytelling. Maybe that's the reason why their art looks so lit. 🔥 We can expect these guys to come up with some cool characters & worlds. Check out the unique features of the game:

I love crypto projects who have a simple and clear roadmap. A lot of them have so much bullshit written on this section of the website and you get confused in a puzzle you didn't opt for. Crossworlds team did a great job with this one:

With Splinterlands, Hive continues to prove that it can handle the traffic and offer games the stability they need to keep their players happy.
From there, it's up to them, their designers and their tokeconomists to make it work.

This looks kind of interesting. I had never heard about it before now. I don't really like the idea of having to use a different token to stake. I've never even heard of PEPECASH and I don't see it on HIVE-ENGINE, so I am guessing it is on a different chain?

Yes, PEPECASH seems to be on a different chain. Even I don't like this idea which is why I am going to stay away from staking until I hear more from them. As per the announcement the game will be using Hive for transactions. I am guessing CWAT would be released as a Hive-Engine token once the presale is live.
