There is a crypto that has given much to talk about, and it can be said that it is the competition of Dogecoin, called "Shiba Inu", being another crypto meme, and whose one of the most important phrases has been "if Doge could reach 1 cent, Shiba could too" but the reality is that both have very different fundamentals and that can make this not be fulfilled in a short time.
The reason why market capitalization and number of units outstanding is so important in analyzing future prices is because it tells us how realistic it is that the asset price will reach the target we think it can reach and I personally use it to analyze the price I think is fair for Hive, which I can say it still has a long way to go.
The case of Shiba Inu is interesting because like Doge, it is within the top 20 cryptos by largest market capitalization, which makes many people who do not know how to read the indicator mentioned above, think that it can reach 1 cent or even $ 1, but we will analyze this information to see how sure it is that this happens.
Below we can see the place of Doge according to the market capitalization, and on the right we can see the amount of Dogecoin that exist in circulation, in order to take the price where it is currently we just have to divide the market capitalization ($31,000,000,000,000) between the amount of Doge in circulation (131,700,000,000), and this number gives us the current price which is approximately 0.23$.
Let us now look at the case of Shiba Inu and do the same:
Now let's look at the top 6 case, to see what is the market capitalization of the last 2 and getting flatter compared to the leadership of Bitcoin and Ethereum at the top of the top.
As we can see, it is hard to think that Shiba Inu can make a x10 and surpass the market cap of Thether, Cardano and BNB, to barely have $0.00025 (it doesn't touch $0.01 yet).
This is an exercise that we should do with those cryptos in which we are thinking of investing, since they give us a better vision of what can happen in the future, because it is not the same to invest in Apple now compared to having done it 20 years ago, nor is it the same to invest in a crypto that leads the market and that certainly can give us a x2 with ease, but others with less capitalization can give us a x4 with ease, and it is even more dangerous if it refers to a highly speculative asset (Doge and Shiba), because they do not have a service that makes their price something solid.
Certainly it is hard to say that Shiba is going to disappear because it is at a high capitalization point, but that is different from thinking that it is going to give a great return as well.

Existe una cripto que ha dado mucho de qué hablar, y se puede decir que es la competencia de Dogecoin, llamada “Shiba Inu“, siendo otra cripto meme, y cuyo una de las frases más importantes ha sido “si Doge pudo llegar a 1 centavo, Shiba tambien podria” pero la realidad es que ambas tienen fundamentales muy diferentes y que puede hacer que esto no se cumpla en un tiempo corto.
La razón por la que la capitalización del mercado y la cantidad de unidades en circulación es tan importante para analizar los precios futuros, es porque nos dicen qué tan realista es que el precio del activo llegue al objetivo que creemos que pueda llegar y personalmente lo uso para analizar el precio que me parece justo para Hive, lo cual puedo decir que aun le queda mucho para poder conseguirlo.
El caso de Shiba Inu es interesante porque al igual que Doge, se encuentra dentro del top 20 de criptos por mayor capitalización del mercado, lo que hace que muchas personas que no saben leer el indicador antes mencionado, piensan que puede llegar a 1 centavo o incluso 1 $, pero ya vamos a analizar esta información para ver que tan seguro es de que esto ocurra.
A continuación podemos ver el lugar de Doge según la capitalización de mercado, y a la derecha podemos ver la cantidad de Dogecoin que existen en circulación, para poder tomar el precio en donde se encuentra actualmente solo debemos dividir la capitalización del mercado (31.000.000.000$) entre la cantidad de Doge en circulació (131.700.000.000), y este número nos da el precio actual que es de aproximadamente 0.23$.
Veamos ahora el caso de Shiba Inu y hagamos lo mismo:
Ahora veamos el caso del top 6, para ver cual es la capitalización del mercado de las últimas 2 y que se va haciendo más plano en comparación con el liderazgo de Bitcoin y Ethereum en el top del top.
Como podemos ver, es difícil pensar que Shiba Inu pueda hacer un x10 y superar la capitalización del mercado de Thether, Cardano y BNB, para apenas tener 0.00025$ (no toca 0.01$ aun).
Esto es un ejercicio que debemos hacer con aquellas criptos en las que pensemos invertir, ya que nos dan una mejor visión sobre lo que puede ocurrir en el futuro, porque no es lo mismo invertir en Apple ahorita en comparación con haberlo hecho hace 20 años, como tampoco es lo mismo invertir en una cripto que lidera el mercado y que ciertamente puede darnos un x2 con facilidad, pero otras con menor capitalización puede darnos un x4 con facilidad, y es mas peligroso aun sin se refiere a un activo altamente especulativo (Doge y Shiba), porque no tienen un servicio que haga que su precio sea algo sólido.
Ciertamente es difícil decir que Shiba vaya a desaparecer porque está en un punto de alta capitalización, pero eso es distinto a pensar que va a dar un gran rendimiento también.
