Both pools are useful towards crypto. I think both are useful but I think the liquidity pools are more important because it lets people get in and out of the ecosystem.

Both types of pools serve their purpose, and they are different... Mining pools, for BTC mining at the beginning, were important as they were used to distribute the newly created tokens equally... Thanks to them, the BTC rich list isn't so concentrated on just a few addresses, as it is for some new tokens...
