First time to hear about
looks a promising project

Just bought some Arrr yesterday, while it was on its way up. Normally I would not do that, but in this case I believe that I still bought it cheap.

Nice! I'm thinking about buying more while it's still below 50 cents, but it is already up almost 50% from where I first got in :-P

Have bought others on their way up a while back. Like ATOM and DOT, already sold them again, which I should not have done I guess, but their line is still up. Although ATOM lags a bit behind. DOT is the one I should have kept at least I think.

The first time I bought Litecoin was when it was at 4 USD. At some point I decided to sell. Again, way too soon. Mimble Wimble added to LTC could make a difference, I expected, but the market seems not to agree with me. It is hard to get it right.

Yesterday I was made aware of HOLO, but that one also already made a huge jump in a short amount of time. Can it still grow?

Not being a Crypto trader or a financial wizard (rather the opposite I would state) it is often like a gamble. And then to have at least some assurance I do tend to look at the technology side of it all.

Not just another clone of something and backed by real provable technology. Looking into that will take some time. Even when some well known Crypto investor states it is something to invest in, I will have a look into myself.

Pirat Chain seems to have potential and I bought Arrr while it got pumped. But I always make sure that it is an 'investment I' that am willing and able to lose. The risk is there, and in the last couple of years I have sold off way too many, way too early. And with this one I guess I'm not needing it, so it can stay where it is.

Guess I am a HODLARRR now. :-)

If they change the name I'd use it but I think pirates are fucking dumb just like that retarded dog from those memes on the other coins.

Maybe one day Pirate will become something more than an arm chair meme, but I'd keep my money in Zcash.

Zcash doesn't really qualify as a privacy coin at all though, since the majority of its transactions are sent without Z-Send active. This builds all sorts of patterns & metadata that can be analyzed, and will only become easier to look through as big tech & government catch up with blockchain tech.

I get the argument against the name, lots of people make it... but I also see a big argument for the name, given how big ThePirateBay is to this day.

Pop culture ruined the perception of the pirate.

I am probably going to get some because I like all ZK technologies in currencies.

I judge bitcoin maximalists harshly but then look at me go here being a Zcash maxi... arguably we can blame wallet Developers for even allowing the tea address. They could develop wallets that did not use the T address and forced z address use.

You have a valid point.
